This was our second trip to Enchantment, We stayed several nights last year and one night this year. Service was excellent and seamless. Check in was extremely quick. We have eaten at Che-ah-Chi both times that we have been there. Last year we thought it was good. This year the service and meal were outstanding .

From the second we checked in to the very last second, the Enchanment was perfect. Wayne assisted in our check in and gladly gave us the most beautiful room with spectacular views... Great location near the spa ( where we spent most of our time ) Orange juice and daily newspaper was left outside our room each morning ... The grounds were pristine and beautiful flowers everywhere. We saw deer quite often on our way to spa. We went on a nature walk with Lauren who was lead us through an amazing hike .... We took a cooking class with Nicole who kept our attention the entire time and prepared a delicious meal. She was very talented and funny. Her side kick Kristen was also whitty ....( both hiking & cooking were no charge by the way, included in the resort fee ). The spa had a indoor heated pool as well as a larger outdoor pool, both refreshing and clean ...The main pool by the lobby was recently renovated and had a large bar there for cocktails and food from 180 ( the restaurant upstairs). The Sunday brunch was one of the BEST brunches I've ever had. Food was delicious and staff was very attentive. The cleaning staff was courteous and did a nice cleaning job. I can't say enough from the Enchanment. Three spectacular days of bliss from someone who has been to many top resorts in the USA and well as Europe Will be returning within the year !

Room Tip: We had room 110 and 210. Great location amazing view !

Enchantment is the word for this place. The location is the main attraction, of course, as the scenery is amazing. You sit in the restaurant and stare up at huge red-rock formations towering above you. I've stayed in resorts in the mountains and this beats all of them for scenery.

Our casita was a short walk from the main lodge. We took the golf cart shuttle sometimes and walked at other times. The room was very nice--a really comfortable bed, modern tub and shower, tasteful decoration. We didn't have much of a view from our room, but you only needed to step outside the door to view the scenery.

Food at the various restaurants was good but a little overpriced, I thought. You're a captive audience at Enchantment, as it's a bit isolated, and while you might not see much of your fellow guests during the day, they all show up for meals. We waited a long time to get in for lunch the first day, but the service was good after that. Dinner at Che-Ah-Chi (the main restaurant) was good but with most entrees starting at $40, you expect more than good. Our waitress forgot about taking our order after bringing the drinks, and we waited quite a while (20 minutes) before she showed up again, very apologetic. To the credit of the resort, they gave us our drinks for free and dessert as well, so that shows a real willingness to make up for the inconvenience. Che-Ah-Chi features a menu (you can view it online) somewhat typical of many modern establishments where the chef goes out of his way to put together combinations of foods that you would never think could ever go together. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't, but you're definitely paying for the concept.

A popular hike starts right behind the spa and winds uphill for around 30 minutes. Everyone we met on the trail seemed to be enjoying themselves. My wife, with her recently-replaced knee and a brace on the other one, negotiated the climb with little difficulty. The view from the top is spectacular.

We played golf at Seven Canyons, which I will review elsewhere, but it was well worth it. We had the course almost to ourselves and the weather was perfect (65 degrees, no wind), so it was odd there weren't more golfers.

If you're going to Arizona, Sedona is one place not to be missed. Enchantment Resort makes the most of its location. It is fairly expensive, especially the food, but you are paying for the views. We would certainly return to Enchantment.

This place was absolutely amazing. The drive from Sedona to the resort is only a few short miles through a winding road; allowing you to take in the beautiful sights of Boynton Canyon. When we arrived at the Guard House he was VERY friendly and welcoming. He directs you to the "lobby" (the lobby is outdoors). When you arrive at the "lobby" somebody (in our case it was Louis) is already waiting for you to check in. They meet you at your vehicle and walk you to the front desk for check in. Check In was very quick. Louis then took us for a quick tour of the restaurants and the main area. Louis then led us to our room. We had a Junior Suite (270). The room was very nice and spacious. It had two queen sized beds and a living room with a fireplace. The bathroom was large (about a third the size of the whole room) and nicely apportioned with a large shower and a separate tub. The room was nicely decorated. Then we walked onto the small patio. The view from patio provided a partially obstructed view of the canyon walls. The obstruction was a tree, which added to the natural ambience of the resort. The first evening we met with the Concierge (Rebecca). Rebecca was, not to sound like a broken record but, extremely nice and helpful. We had pre-booked a Grand Canyon Tour with Pink Jeep, but wanted to do something else another day. Rebecca helped us book the Broken Arrow Tour with Pink Jeep; she even got us a return client discount because of our aforementioned Grand Canyon Tour. Then we went to play tennis. The courts were nice and the resort provided the tennis balls and rackets. We then ate at the 180. we did the Six at Six. The food and service was very good. My wife had an adult Lemonade and I had a Prickly Pear Margarita, then we had another round (LOL). The kids had regular lemonade, in fact they remarked it was the best lemonade they ever had. We had a restful and peaceful sleep. In fact the next few nights were extremely peaceful and restful. As part of our trip a breakfast was included. Our tour left too early to enjoy any of the restaurants, but we learned we could get room service with the passes. Daniel, with a smile, delivered our food before 6AM. It did not cost anything, except an unrequested but graciously accepted tip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. They had a short pitch and putt gold course, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to play. Everyplace you went on the resort all the employees were extremely friendly. If they saw you coming they'd run to open a restaurant door for you etc. We did not eat at any of the other restaurants, but they looked real nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back.

We are sadly leaving tomorrow- Arrived last week with list of "Sedona"things to do....arrived here, saw list of activities to do ( yoga, vision board, cooking classes, hikes, mountain biking, composting, water colors, makeup, ) ,and have hardly left the property. Amazing. Spa is great, pools, steam rooms, great cafe ( not advertised as much as would have been helpful )....Massages were pricey, but great ( OK , I did a muscle tension relaxation one )....I considered the past life regression spa treatment or the tarot cards but thought I should focus on the basics.......SUGGESTIONS: Stop at Safeway or other store and bring in "supplies"...wine, beer, soft drinks, basic lunch",,, the drive to town is a windy road, not bad at all,but once you are here it is hard to think about leaving, but prices at the restaurants are high....Of all the activities, the "vortex talk and walk" was the least impressive, ....fun to do if you are "open to energy" .... I was fine with that but my more traditional spouse only whispered in my ear that he wished he was golfing...

Room Tip: We were near the lobby which was great for breakfast etc; The walk to the spa was not bad, but in...

An absolutely beautiful property. Nestled into mountains.
My one and only issue is the concierge availability. The hold time was lengthy... That is IF you ever reached someone. Since they act as front desk as well, they are overwhelmed. I wish they had more help during peak hours.
