“Beautiful property! ”
Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

An absolutely beautiful property. Nestled into mountains.
My one and only issue is the concierge availability. The hold time was lengthy... That is IF you ever reached someone. Since they act as front desk as well, they are overwhelmed. I wish they had more help during peak hours.

I visited Sedona for the first time with my daughter. Enchantment Resort was the perfect spot...our casita was impeccable, dream beds, breathtaking views, close to lobby, restaurants, tennis courts and pool. We were able to hike five trails nearby (our fav was Bear Mountain), had five star meals at the 3 restaurants...Che-ah-Chi might be the finest meal I've ever had...the staff were all super courteous and knowledgeable. The Mii Amo Spa has an incredible restaurant too, and great facilities at your disposal. The Sedona Mud wrap was amazing. I will return again and again.

Was here a few weeks back and a amazing time. The hotel is well situated next to a canyon so hiking, mountain biking trails start at the resort. They have all the facilities at the resort so there is no need to leave apart to see all the other beautiful scenery that Sedona has to offer.

Definitely will return when I need to relax again.

The resort is a disappointment. The location is excellent. Due to their lack of staff and greed of profit it is not worth the expense…they make it official in two major areas of our disappointment…
Here are direct answers from the resort to pass off our disappointment with housekeeping and hiking services…"I am so sorry you were disappointed with your visit. I, too, am disappointed. The hikes are our most popular activity and unfortunately, they do fill up very quickly. We are restricted by our Forest Service permit regarding the number of people allowed on the trails on a given day. We try to remind guests to book activities right away; (We did try and book as soon as we arrived) I apologize if that was not suggested. Also, guests should receive a pre-arrival email from Concierge suggesting they book activities early.(this was not done by the resort)

Because our resort is spread over 70 acres, we give our Housekeeping teams until 4 PM to complete stay over service. Guests are welcome to call Housekeeping or Guest Services to schedule a preferred cleaning time. Again, I apologize if this was not mentioned. (they have a lack of employees to extend adequate services)

The quality of the resort services was like a bad Motel!!!!!

My suggestion…hike Boynton Canyon by yourselves and stay somewhere else in beautiful Sedona:)

Dear Josh S.

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts.

While we are happy you appreciated the beauty of our location in Boynton Canyon, we are discouraged by your comments. We take pride in maintaining high service levels and that includes responding to each guest survey received.

We offer guests more than 100 activities each week. We provide maps of nearby hiking and mountain biking trails which can be enjoyed by guests at their leisure. The Boynton Canyon Trail is very popular as it can be accessed directly from the resort grounds. In addition to sending guests pre-arrival emails, the importance of pre-booking certain activities is mentioned on the reservation confirmation and the activity schedule.

Permitting our Housekeeping teams extra time to traverse our acreage allows for detailed services including nightly turn-down.

We expected perfection for our two day stay following four days photographing the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, the view and property were beautiful, but that was it: parking was a competitive activity (and handicapped parking was virtually non-existent), cell service was literally non-existent, room service the first day similarly never happened, maps given us by the concierge service were not written for the GPS generation -- we expected enchanting, but received some-chanting. And oh -- shouldn't a top resort have separate showers and tubs, not a shower in the tub?

Dear onlythebest 10017,

Thank you for your review; your comments are appreciated and we’re glad you found the property to be beautiful. While our resort sits on 70 acres in Boynton Canyon, we do limit parking to specific areas. There is parking in front of most suites and casitas, and we do have designated handicap parking spaces. Additionally, we offer valet parking at our Clubhouse and our bellmen are available to transport guests via golf cart.
Being in a box canyon, cell phone coverage can be a challenge. Please know we are constantly upgrading systems when new technologies become available. I am sorry you did not have an opportunity to enjoy a meal from In-Room Dining as we have an extensive menu available from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm daily; a limited menu is available after hours. Our resort has multiple room types and many do have separate showers and tubs. I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you again and if so, our reservationists will be delighted to suggest accommodations that are best suited to your needs.

This place is really special. And excels at every touch-point...with amazing views, spectacular spa and activities, super-comfortable accommodations and scrumptious fare. As well as friendly, efficient service. However, cell phone reception is a problem. Or NOT! Enchantment is meant for relaxation, reflection and re-connection. Really. It's so easy to calm all-the-way down here. Live. Laugh. Lounge. At Enchantment Resort.

As soon as we stepped out if the car we were greeted by the valet, who akso proceed to give us a tour and assisted us to our room. The room was very spacious for our party of three. Every host, waiter, or service person was so friendly and helpful. That was such a nice bonus! Every morning we were delivered oj and newspaper. The trials behind the resort is a perfect "beginners" type of trail. All with amazing views. Another great perk was all of the daily activites, like pilates or yoga in the flow room. Or the option to use tge resorts mt bikes or tennis courts. All included in your stay. The spa has so many choices of treatment, you will definitely find one that will work for you. Between my girlfriends and I - we all had different treatments and we all left so relaxed and glowing! All the restaurants were super yummy- a little pricey, but worth it. Dinner at che a chi, was another amazing experience. The Wine and entrees were delicious. A beautiful setting, with awesome service and amenities. We all agreed to bring iur husbands next year.
* only one small issue, very difficult to get a signal. This was important for three ladies with families to check on. However maybe a great way to truly "disconnect" . We had to go to the main lobby to make phone calls.
