“Breathtaking 20th Anniversary”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Wow! Every detail well thought out, friendliest staff, beautiful surroundings. Couldn't ask for more. The casita we stayed in (104) can only be described as a mini-apartment. Newspaper, oj, & water delivered to the door every morning. The only "complaint" I can say is that there's hardly any wireless Internet service. But that was fine with us because we wanted to totally disconnect! Definitely going back....soon!

My husband and I were in town over Thanksgiving and tried getting reservations for Thanksgiving dinner without success. Someone at a different restaurant suggested Enchantment and that was the place we made reservations at for their Thanksgiving buffet. We could not have planned it better ourselves. Location and views were spectacular, food was delicious and service good. Our Thanksgiving Day turned out so memorable and we will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Don't need to repeat what others say about the beautiful setting, etc...

Just like to put in a plug for all the little details the resort pays attention to that makes it 5 stars.

Orange juice dropped off at ur doorstep in the am, bottled water in the pm turndown service
Bellhop service when u arrive that is more like a tour guide for the resort and all it's amenities
Hot apple cider in the pm and coffee in the am in the lobby
Free wifi
Nice workout facilities at the spa
Multiple, multiple events during the day like stargazing with an astronomer, cooking classes, etc....

Really a first class resort with excellent service

This resort is truly 5 stars. The restaurants are top notch and the service was amazing. Please dont make the same mistake I did and stay only one night. The spa was so relaxing with its fireplace and its lounge rooms. So beautiful and so relaxing. Dont miss Sunday brunch its truly a treat!!

Now that we've stayed at two of Sedona's top resorts, this is the one we'll return to. Amazing red rock views from every place on the property. Gorgeous spa with indoor and outdoor pools, cafe, juice bar, beautiful lounges, great spa treatments, free yoga - even my husband liked this spa. Our room was probably one of the cheaper ones, and it was great - heavenly bed, rock star bathroom, very private deck with stunning red rock views. Dinner at Che Ah Chi, the high end resort restaurant was fabulous, even for this San Francisco food snob couple. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, welcoming us by name at arrival, promptly responding to our requests for more supplies in our room, and giving us a late checkout on request with no hassle.

We took a gorgeous hike up the back of the canyon that began right on the property. Wish we'd had more time to borrow the free mountain bikes and a map to explore the bike trails.

We paid less than half of the price here that we paid on an earlier stay at L'Auberge Sedona. The views at Enchantment were better, the spa was waaaaay better, the restaurant was better (Enchantment's head chef used to be at L'Auberge), and there was much more to do on the property. This was so much more value for our money. We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights before moving on to Scottsdale -wow! It is every bit as beautiful as the photos - I couldn't post anything better than what has already been posted.
Two key points from our visit: 1. we thought we would check in, and then head to town. Once we got set up at the room town seemed too far away, too much effort, and not worth leaving for. 2. on our full day we started at the spa. We worked out, swam, took saunas, enjoyed all the amenities of the spa. (All included!) We enjoyed it so much we took showers, had lunch and plan to go back there this morning. The view from the outdoor pool is one of the best on the property.
Great luxurious hotel. Good service. Plenty to do if you want to. Yes it is expensive - but fun to live that way for a couple of days!!

The scenery in Sedona is already amazing, but the location of this resort, tucked away in its own canyon about ten minute drive out of town, is truly stunning. You know how sometimes you see pictures of a high-end property that makes it look isolated and gorgeous, but then when you show up you see all the neighboring properties that were just out of the camera view and they aren't so pretty? That is not case with the Enchantment. The only neighbor is the Mii Amo spa which unobtrusive and beautiful. The location just can't be beat.

We stayed in a spotless and very well maintained junior suite which was a very large bedroom with a table/desk, and a comfy sitting area with a full size couch, gas fireplace, and doors out to a terrace. There was a flat screen TV sitting area and another one in the sleeping area. The bathroom was also huge. Double vanity, separate toilet room, large walk-in shower, and a soaking tub that was very comfortable for my 6'2" frame--It wasn't a huge tub, but it was very comfy. I used it every day.
The bed was on the firmer side of soft but still not as firm as I like it. But based on all the squishy beds in high end properties, I think my interest in firm beds might be in the minority.

Two bottles of free water showed up each day, as did OJ and newspapers each morning.

Service was excellent and friendly. After you arrive at the entrance gate, you drive up to the lobby area where they check you in curbside and then have you follow them in a golf cart to your room. Parking for your vehicle is steps from your door.

In addition to the location and very nice rooms I loved the fact that the resort fee actually covers most of the activities No nickel and diming at this property. It also covered wifi, and access to the Mii Amo Spa which is gorgeous and has very good workout facilities, steam/sauna/whirlpool in each locker room as well as an indoor and outdoor pool and I think a whirlpool in the common area. It is a really lovely spa. There is also a really nice large outdoor pool and hot tub just off the lobby pavilion.

The breakfast in Che-ah-Chi was very good (especially the blueberry muffins) but still pales in comparison to dinner at Che-ah-Chi. Good menu, good wine list, great cocktails. My beef short ribs were really fantastic. We also had a few lunches at the spa cafe which was lighter but still very good.
