Where desert and forest kiss, the Enchantment Resort is nestled in the Secret Wilderness of the Coconino National Forest, upon 70 acres of gorgeous red rock terrain.
After a warm welcome from Enchantment Resort staff, we rested in our fire-lit pueblo-style room. The next morning we awoke to a day filled with activity options laced with magical service. Its friendly staff is what really makes the Enchantment Resort rock. Coupled with the happy hoopla from Suzy Lande in the resort's Activities Center sharing her exercise tips and free style hula hoops. Ms. Lande further set us up with complimentary mountain bikes with safety equipment for the nearby trails, a hiking map that took us around the curious canyon as well as Doe Mountain about a mile past the resort. Few trails offer the display of eye candy contained within the colorful Boynton Canyon and surrounding areas.

From start to finish, Boynton Canyon has it all, Ancient Indian ruins with awe-inspiring sights, lush forest, seasonal rain waterfalls and treasured trails lined with Alligator Juniper. The plants and wildlife move naturally between the resort and the wilderness with the area's number of species per acre being one of the highest found anywhere in the world. This panoramic view is shared by the cactus wren, doves, hawks and the hummingbirds that hover to sip nectar from the surrounding flora.

That evening we were pleasantly suprised to find our waiter, Ben Silver, a magician serving up delicious food accompanied by tasty tricks at the View 180, one of the many options at the Enchantment Resort. Our final day was filled with a rousing rally on the tennis courts.

Room Tip: The rooms closest to the backside canyon make for a real eye-opener early morning.

This resort is so beautiful and relaxing. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The people so friendly, 24/7 heated pool, we watched the stars come out enjoying a Prickly Pear Margarita. Enjoyed a spa treatment at the Mii Amo Spa directly on the resort property. Walked the hiking trails around the Red Rock's....saw a Fox...was a blast!
We will be going back for sure.

Sedona is a magical place. Enchantment Resort is outside of town nestled in Boynton Canyon. It captures the spirit of Sedona. The resort sprawls beneath towering cliffs of red rock that that are ever changing in the light of day. Dawn and dusk are the most spectacular. This was our third stay at Enchantment and our first visit since the recent renovation. Enchantment is now even more spectacular than before. If graded on setting and staff alone it would be more than 5 stars. While all of the staff is great, two are outstanding: Wayne at the front desk and Dev, a bellman. These two gentlemen go the extra step. Our Casita Studio came with a queen pull down bed. It was too soft for us and when we mentioned it to Wayne, after considerable effort he was able to move us to a Casita Suite with a king one bedroom. Of all the accommodations we have stayed in at Enchantment (Hacienda, Junior Suite, Casita) this was by far, the best. Ask for Casita 112/112A. Dev could not do enough for us. He was as proud of this place as if it was his creation. Wayne and Dev are among the very best hotel staff we have ever encountered.

The Resort offers a variety of daily activities. Hikes, workshops and lectures so you enjoy many options that will enable you to take full advantage of what Enchantment has to offer.

The Mii Amo Spa is now world class. It, too, has been upgraded. It has indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant and wonderful spa facilities and staff. It’s primarily an adults only venue which can be welcoming when you want to get away from the excitement at the main pool.

A tip. If you are driving north from Phoenix, drive through Cottonwood and take highway 89A north towards Sedona. The approach is positively spectacular. And, you avoid the traffic of the town.

So, why not 5 stars? Why not the highest rating? I truly believe the highest rating is reserved for a flawless experience across the board. Waking up the first morning with a sore back from a too soft bed is not flawless. The service at the Chi A Chi restaurant was too slow. It was explained that there was a “mix up” in the kitchen. Our check-in was delayed for an hour after we had been told the room was ready but being inspected. After a while, I asked who was inspecting the room, the Secret Service.? We were comped drinks, but still…

Will we return? I can’t wait.

Room Tip: Casitas 12 and 26 have spectacular views.

Made to wait 10 minutes in reception with no greeting, when served told a bellman would be with us shortly to take us to our room. 20 mins later I remind them we're waiting.. Nothing. 10 more minutes and I got the key and found it myself. With children and elderly mother, horrible 'can't be bothered' attitude not what I'd even expect especially at $600+/night! Get it together guys. 5 more days here I hope the service improves!

The Enchantment Resort was absolutely beautiful.
We mostly ate breakfast at Mii Amo spa, prices were reasonable and food was good. We only ate dinner at the resort one night, but it was absolutely amazing and the service was great. We ate at Tii Gavo. Our server, I believe his name is Yervant, was amazing. So nice, so accomodating and all with a great sense of humor. I had the smoked chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend had the smoked free range chicken. Both were great!
The rooms were very large with a fire place. Each night there was turn down service- robes layed out on the bed, slippers on the floor and the fire place turned on.
We chose the package with a spa treatment each day of our stay. All the treatments were great.
Everyone who worked at Enchantment Resort was very nice and very willing to go out of their way to help us. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We even saw deer on the premises one evening.
I highly recommend this place- you won't be sorry.

Room Tip: we had the junior suite and it was roomy and well put together.

We stayed at the Enchancement Resort and were simply amazed by be location.. The hotel is very nicely located between the hills. We spent one night only so did not get a chance to explore the location or hotel fully. Definitely worth visiting and staying at this resort..

The Enchantment Resort in Sedona, AZ is tremendous! The location alone is worth the trip, nestled in a literal bowl within the GORGEOUS RED ROCK of Sedona, the views just take your breath away!
The restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating serves great and healthy choices and the service is wonderful.
The entire resort is designed to blend in with the land and their philosophy does as well. Wonderful place, even if just for a visit and lunch, GO THERE!!
Great hiking available all around too!
