This resort is absolutely breathtaking! It is in a great location, and the rooms have spectacular views. John, the bellman who assisted us upon check-in, was phenomenal! He really made the experience memorable.

Dinner, in the Yavapai restaurant, was very good and so was the service! I recommend the Foie Gras starter!

We ate breakfast in the Mii amo café and the view alone from the patio was worth it! I wish we would have had more time to use the Mii amo spa.

Stayed at the enchantment for 3 nights in one of the casitas, master suite. This most be one of the most beautiful rooms/hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was super large, a master bed room with a seperate living room with a queen bed (in a closet) for the children. The location is to die for. We played tennis on one of the courts with a direct view on the red rocks....The children lovedbthe mini golf (on gras!) and there are 3 pools, small but charming. If you are looking for a couple of days of luxuary in a fabulous location and beautiful rooms, this is the place.

Enchantment has unbeatable views, but we'll probably stay at Mii Amo next time. My husband and I vacationed here for our anniversary, and we were hoping for a quiet, romantic getaway. There were screaming kids everywhere...we could hear them while in our room, while walking around - it was unavoidable. Mii Amo has an age restriction of 16+, and I think that's the place to go if you want some peace and quiet. Our room was updated from our last visit, which was nice, but housekeeping was really, really pathetic. Every day was screwed up somehow, whether we were missing towels, toilet paper, bath robes, coffee; the list goes on. And they never changed our sheets or swept/vacuumed the floors...and we were there a week. It was a little gross. We eventually got so fed up with calling to ask for things every day that we just went out and bought our own coffee and toilet paper at the grocery store. We were really disappointed in the overall lack of service in that regard; I even had to call twice for the same thing. Seriously, though, how hard is it to remember to provide towels? It just wasn't what we expected or remembered from this kind of resort.

Tii Gavo was adequate, but we had to flag the server down for everything, from wanting to order, wanting water, and wanting to pay just to get the heck out of there. Mii Amo Cafe was far superior, and we even ate there three times because we loved it so much.

We still had a wonderful trip, despite loud kids everywhere and the lack of fresh linens, but next time we'll probably do L'Auberge instead or just stay at Mii Amo. And we'll buy our own coffee much earlier.

Room Tip: Specify on the phone while making reservations that you want a quiet room!

I think it is fair to say that the recent upgrades of the casitas render some of the earlier posts about the room conditions irrelevant. Our one-bedroom casita was completely refurbished with sleek, clean bathrooms and improved bedding and linens.
Most casitas consist of a central living room flanked by bedrooms on both sides. You can reserve any combination of the rooms. We reserved a one-bedroom combination, which included the central LR and one bedroom. My only complaint about the rooms is that they are not soundproofed very well due to the nature of the connecting rooms so we could hear our neighbors almost as if they were in the same room.
Luckily, Sedona is not a place to spend time indoors, so we were not bothered by this except early in the morning. We put the kids in the bedroom and slept on the Murphy bed in the LR, which was very comfortable.
We have staying in Sedona several times and Enchantment has the best location of any hotel. Don't worry about being far from town. The location far and away makes up for the fact that you have to drive to town.

This was our first time in Sedona, and we were lucky enough to stay at Enchantment. We were there for the three day Spa Tranquility Package, which was perfect for us. With the package we each received one treatment per day, so we had time to hike, explore, participate in the daily activities, and relax by the pool for the rest of the day. Enchantment is a few miles outside of Sedona and very secluded back in the red rocks. We had great views from our casita and the staff was so nice and helpful. While in Sedona, we would recommend eating at the restaurant in town called Elote. It's usually an hour wait, but the food is amazing. Especially the seafood tacos and their special corn cake dessert. Enchantment was great and we would definitely go back.
