We enjoyed our stay in a spacious, clean room. Nice amenities with a refrigerator and microwave. Manager very helpful with questions about hiking. We loved the location south of Sedona near great hiking. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I think an upstairs room is quieter.

My wife & I along with our daughters stayed three nights @ Desert Quail Inn. While it is an
older style motel it has undergone major upgrade as it under new management who are dertermined to make your stay pleasant. We had been in our room only a few mins. when the manager called and asked if our room suited us. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. The management was very considerate and helpful. We were given discounts to a very good restaurant. The cost of a good night sleep in a clean and comfortable room was quite reasonable. I would definitely stay here again and would consider it well worth the money for a place to stay near the beautiful sights around Sedona.

Beautiful location, out of the heart of swiftly growing Sedona. Rooms and sleep top notch, great sunset views from the second floor balcony.

Close to walks/hikes, shopping and galleries, good value for what is otherwise an expensive oasis.

Only complaint is the wi-fi was a pain - constantly in and out.

This hotel is a great value for the money. We stayed here two nights on our trip with our two kids. Don't be fooled by the outside door/motel feel; this is a diamond in the rough. The rooms are updated and nice. They had a wide variety of TV channels for our children to watch and wind down at the end of our busy day in the Grand Canyon. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our daughter did not feel well during the night and ended up getting sick. The hotel owner was very helpful with providing us with new bedding. Having the grocery store within walking distance and the Red Rock Café for breakfast are other pluses.

We will definitely be back when we are in Sedona. The ONLY possible negative I could find was the wireless Internet was intermittent; it kept logging me out after a few minutes. But it was not a deal breaker at all. Highly recommended.

Two nights at this very affordable, clean, quiet (off-season), comfortable, no pets (rare in this area) 2 level hotel in the always gorgeous mid-north AZ. Minutes from everything (hiking, restaurants, shopping) but away from the center of busy Sedona.
Seasonal heated pool, breakfast at café nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Second floor (no elevator) for quiet, view.
