We headed to Sedona as an alternative not knowing much about it, since all the Federal sites were closed, . Got there late in the day after taking the beautiful but winding narrow mountain road instead of the interstate. We passed up most lodging as they had "no vacancy" signs. Luckily we grabbed the last room here on a Friday for 1 nite. So we had 1 day to do sightseeing. My review:

--Ken at the front desk did a fabulous job of helping us with a 1 day itinerary to see the best in Sedona (5 things, plus we added one). Absolutely gorgeous scenery.
--Very comfy bed and bath
--micro/fridge in huge "living room"
--bed/bath decor up to date; the living room more outdated
--great gardens right outside and view of red rocks
--very quiet
--tv a bit slow to operate
--trouble getting wifi, but did finally work
--very small breakfast room, but we did snag a table after the crowds dispersed
--I would say the room was pricey for what you got, but then, it's based on high demand and the location in the midst of this spectacular area

And a note about Sedona itself: Gorgeous area, definitely worth a visit, hope to come again for a longer stay. That said, it is very touristy area, and the driver's incredibly rude trying to push you past the speed limit in their big trucks! Be prepared for lots of people, lots of traffic, and high prices. Reservations recommended.

Sedina is beautiful and our hotel made us feel very welcome. Ken at the front desk helped us different days and gave us a different varity of sights to see. We really enjoyed the over all stay. Only ideas we have to make it a bit better- more lobby breakfast area. And a gym ;)

Great location, great view, largest room we had on trip (comapred with 4 hotels we stayed at, all cost much more), clean, spacious, basic older style decor, Jeff at desk is nice and helpful, great to work with.
Room came with large refrigerator (larger than previous 4 hotels), microwave, and everything else you need.
No frills, but price was great, loved location and space.
Cons: room on second floor, no elevator, need to take luugage down and up staircase.

Good location on the main road. Pool and hot tub are very nice with tables and umbrellas and lounge chairs. The place is clean and well kept, fridges and microwave in the rooms and the rooms are large, the one we were in had a deck with chairs which was great. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Wifi worked great. The breakfast was disappointing as it was only continental with few choices. Overall I would stay here again, it was a good price for the area

Hotel is close to many of the classic Sedona "must do's." Front desk receptionist was very friendly on check in and to my relief the 1 queen bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The morning desk receptionist Ken was a wealth of knowledge about the area what not to miss and where some great places to eat were. Breakfast was basic (bagels, cereal, danish, fruit, coffee and juice), but for $89 a night I did not expect a lot. Booked an evening sunset jeep tour with the advice of Ken. Had a fantastic time with a down to earth native american guide that told tons of colorful stories full of fact and fiction! The price was right and the staff advice was great!
