Looking for a break from snow and cold, we landed at the Cozy Cactus. We were there for 4 nights, but easily could have stayed a month. Mark and Carrie were awesome, very friendly and helpful, excellent cooks, and fun to talk to. As I do prior to booking a room at a hotel or B&B, I read Trip Advisor reviews looking for the pros and cons of an establishment. Of course the positive reviews are spot on, however, the average review making mention of the owners poor jokes and intrusiveness caught my attention. We found this to be the farthest from the truth. I begged for Mark to tell jokes, but was told he only knew one. And Carrie was not at all intrusive. Friendly and helpful yes. Her & Mark made us feel like family. Obviously when there are 300+ stellar reviews with only 1 average rating, I knew the poor jokes and intrusiveness was a bogus claim. We had a lot of laughs playing off this during the stay. Thanks for the hospitality. We look forward to our next stay at the Cozy Cactus. Todd & Debbie
