My mother and I are from Canada and had decided to take a 3 day trip to Sedona from Goodyear AZ (where my husband and I have a home). We wanted a quiet place for our base. We found the Southwest Inn at Sedona both charming and accomodating. Having never been to Sedona before we had my gps with us but I had forgotten the car charger at home. The gps was dead by the time we made it to Sedona and I was worried about how to get home without it. The front staff offered to plug it into their apple computer (to charge) in their office overnight (as it wouldn't fit their computers in the media room they offer to guests). I was surprised and very thankful for this kind offer. They certainly did not have to do this as I would have no way of knowing they had a compatible computer in their office.
We both liked the fireplace and the spacious bathroom area with two sinks.
The staff was very helpful in recommending places to go for dinner. We tried 2 of the places and again were delighted at the outcome.
I would stay here again as I enjoyed the fact that it is not a huge 'resort' but a quiet motel and the price was very fair. We were on the bottom floor and had no view but I wasn't in Sedona for the view from my motel room.
