This hotel was fantastic! The beds were wonderful along with everything about the room. The outside of the hotel was kept up and the plants plus decor was beautiful.

We loved the robes and the balcony over looking the red rocks was perfect.

The price was right on too. Great location being right on the main road. The pool was clean and amazing. Loved the fact that i could swim alone in the middle of the day and that it went to 6'+ deep. Plus, the whirlpool was in a seperate location from the pool too.

We loved it so much that we decided to stay an extra day.

Enjoyed the sleep-the window unit AC had a steady tone, like a white noise generator. The bed was on the soft side, but neither one of us had any back pain in the morning. The room was clean and very cute. The easy chair in the room was comfortable and quite trendy, a nice touch. The bathroom had been re-done, but was a bit worn. Hot water no problem at all. The jetted tub was nice after a long day hike. The breakfast was juice, coffee, cereal of choice, bread for toast, boiled eggs, breakfast burritos (heated in microwave by each guest). I didn't care for it, so we went elsewhere. All staff we encountered were great!

Room Tip: Balcony for a view.

I liked this little inn at the beginning of the 89A in Sedona. I would not say it had views though, we were on the second floor with a balcony and still the parking lot was a little too visible not enough of the red rocks, but quiet. Also so many reviewers said the breakfast was great, I guess it depends on what you'd call great, the "famous" burritos were frozen and you had to microwave them (not my fav way to eat a burrito) and the rest was the usual fare… the room was nice though, loved the kiva fireplace, bed was decent (pillows too tall for my taste, shucks forgot my pillow from home!) For the price $168 a night I'm not sure I'd return but it was ok.

The hotel is my new favorite hotel in Sedona. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. ours even had a fireplace. the bathroom is huge. ours had a jetted tub. loved the bath products that were included in the bathroom. room also has a fridge and large tv with direct tv. our room even had a little patio with table and chairs. hotel also has a nice pool and Jacuzzi, and parking is easy and convenient. ben at the front desk was so helpful with map and suggestions. his customer service was outstanding. we ended up going to a restaurant and hike that he recommended. i hope to stay here again and again. the hotel is even close to grocery stores, which is convenient. love, love, love this place.

Room Tip: first floor is the best because many parking spaces are right in front of the room

Just returned from an amazing weekend in Sedona, AZ. We decided to stay at the Southwest Inn based on the "current" positive reviews we read. We couldn't be more happier with our experience. The location was perfect. A short drive to the market, restaurant and sites yet tucked away enough so it was peaceful and away from any hustle and bustle. Rooms and property were very clean, comfy and well cared for. The service was so awesome too!! Ben at the front desk was so friendly and helpful with all our questions about trails, hikes and things to see. He was very knowledgeable and if he didn't have the answer he took the liberty jump on the web for clarity. Very happy with our stay/visit.
