“Good location...”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

My daughter and I stayed Christmas eve at the Inn and found it to be very clean and reasonable for what the room rate was. The fireplace made it feel cozy and was awesome to have for our Christmas celebration. The down comforters were a bit warm, even in December, but impeccably neat and clean. Far surpassed the $75.00 a night room I stayed in at Oak Creek the week before and being at the South end of town was quieter but close enough to the shops and restaurants as well.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms at the back of the property to avoid road noise and have a better view of the red rock...

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay here at our inn. Our housekeepers take pride in their work and we are happy to hear their efforts are appreciated.
Our location in West Sedona gives us great proximity to the national forest as well as some of the better restaurants in town. We are pleased to see you agree.
Once again, thank you for your review. We hope to see you again soon!

We stayed at the Sedona Inn for three nights. The property itself is OK and the rooms could use a little updating, but for a little over $100 in Sedona, this is a great bargain. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We especially liked the coziness of the room--there is a gas kiva-style fireplace in each room and as we visited in December it was great to return in the evening to our own little "hearth away from home." Guests are provided terry cloth robes. The free breakfast included the usual yogurt, cereal or granola, toast and muffins, juice (orange), coffee or tea and hard-boiled eggs. They also offered waffles, which guests make themselves. The best part of the breakfast was the homemade mini-burritos. Tasty and healthy, the burritos are stuffed with black beans and brown rice with tomato sauce, quinoa and spices added. The gal at the front desk even gave us the recipe! The hotel has two computers that guests can use to print out boarding passes, check email, etc. One complaint was that we could hear the people in the next room. We had a room with a door that could be opened to allow access to the other room. Perhaps not all the rooms have this feature. Fortunately the people next door weren't terribly noisy. The beds were quite soft for our taste. We liked the fact that the windows open so you can get fresh air if desired. We didn't especially like the fact that the heater/cooling fan was a bit on the noisy side. Instead of leaving it on all night, we warmed the room quite a bit before going to bed, then turned on the fireplace--which was on a timer for an hour--and we were warm enough through the night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We've stayed at the Southwest Inn in Sedona twice, and each time it has been a very enjoyable experience. The hotel rooms are most pleasant with beamed ceilings and kiva-like fireplaces. The restaurant provides a fine breakfast and the staff at both the restaurant and hotel are helpful and friendly. It is extremely clean which is also a plus. Would gladly stay there again.

Room Tip: I prefer the second floor because you get a better view.

This is a great place inside and out. Clean, well maintained and reasonably priced even for those of us that want to be with our pets. Beds have comfy linens. Our room was spacious. We would definitely come back.

We have stayed at this lovely Inn twice and both times it was wonderful. The rooms are romantic and comfortable without being so luxurious they are embarrassing. The price is excellent. The location is on the west edge of Sedona, within easy access of everything but out of the crowded areas. Breakfast is good and abundant. We needed something changed in our room once and they were on it in a flash. Would stay there again without question.

Room Tip: Staying in a room near the hot tub is nice!

The ambiance was fabulous - a gas log fireplace, beautiful southwestern art, two-sink large bathroom with thick towels & terry-cloth robes. There was a nice breakfast and the personnel was very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed at this property for one night last week and it was a very positive experience. We had a second floor room with a view of the mountains, although the clouds quickly moved in due an unexpected thunderstorm. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Nick at the front desk recommended good restaurants in the area. We chose Judi's at his suggestion and it was a real winner! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: Get a room on the second floor.
