Six stars....out of five. The innkeepers, the breakfasts, the room, the staff, the view.... outstanding in every way.

We just returned from a trip to Sedona and were very pleased with the Lodge. The staff is wonderful and eager to help with any need, be it local restaurant recommendations or directions to area attractions. The rooms are very special with extremely comfortable feather-bed-topped beds and nice amenities like the lodge's own bath and body products.
Breakfast each morning was delicious and hearty but also health-conscious: the perfect start to the day's adventures for which this property is ideally located. The only small problem we experienced was noise from above and adjoining rooms, but this may have been unique to our room ("Desert Trails") or due to the fact that this Logde was once a private home. All in all, we would return.

The decor at the Lodge is beautiful, but the staff appeared to be a bit more arrogant than friendly. While the food is gourmet quality, we would have preferred our morning grapefruit to be plain sans spices or herbs. But the homemade chocolate apple spice cookies were outstanding and made the trip memorable.

We stayed at the Lodge and had a great time. The staff could not possibly be any friendlier or more helpful. And the breakfasts were wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The lodge has a homey, friendly feel. (But a warning - in case you need a phone or computer in your room, there are none).

I booked a night at the Lodge for my 5-year wedding anniversary. After reading about this B&B, I was really excited about it and was looking forward to a wonderful stay. I was quite disappointed. The suite we booked was pretty small with just about the tiniest bathtub I have ever seen, an A/C that did not work well, and a "king" sized bed that was really just two twins put together. My husband and I were also awoken at 7:00 am by one of the innkeepers yelling on the patio. When I complained the next morning, I basically got a blank stare. When I complained in writing, I got a $50 gift certificate at the Lodge.
Sorry, but I won't be staying there again and definitely do not recommend it. If you are reading this review, I recommend that you stay at one of the nicer hotels in Sedona--you'll get a better room and better service at a lower price.

Unfortunately, we only stayed here one night, but it was a retreat every moment. Once we drove in, it was like we left the outside world of many days of travel in the Grand Circle and tourism in general behind. The environment here is very peaceful and the place exudes serenity and relaxation. Everything is well decorated, and we enjoyed our room with the fireplace (that you just switch on/off! We used it that night AND in the cool morning) and sank into that impossibly soft bed with oh, a dozen pillows on it. Lucy gave us a tour of the place and even made reservations to dinner for us at a restaurant (the living room also has a collection of various restaurant menus to peruse if we had wanted), and they have a helpful map on how to get to various views of the rocks. Many people apparently get lost on the way to Cathedral Rock but I had no problem finding it at all thanks to the info at the Lodge!

We decided to stay at the Lodge at Sedona because of the excellent reviews we read on this website. The Lodge at Sedona exceeded our expectations. We went to Sedona to celebrate our anniversary and our stay at The Lodge at Sedona couldn't have been better. The room was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed spending evenings relaxing on our patio. The large jetted tub in our room was great and we really loved our in room massages. Breakfast each morning couldn't be beat. We will never stay any place else when we go to Sedona.
