I booked my tour last minute and was so grateful to have been accommodated. I was traveling by myself and our guide, Elizabeth was so attentive to our group . She gave us detailed information about the canyon itself and its history . I was worried that by being a solo traveler id feel left out but she made me feel welcome and brought the group together. I had a great time! The tasty lunch was an added bonus!

No chance I'd wanna drive this by myself like others have said. Our guide Drew gave us a lot of information about what looked like a ton of wide open space or piles of rocks that we would have never known completely interesting information about had we gone alone. Other plus's were it was great to have a picnic in a location with a fantastic view and a guide that knew to switch the itinerary according the the cloud pattern of the day so that we could get the most out of our trip.
Basically we had a 10 out of 10 day. Our photos of the day are some of the most phenomenal we've ever taken. Thanks to the tip from Drew to have the native area guides give us the best settings and angles in each area for the perfect shot. They gave us any tips we asked for and were completely happy to help us.
Well worth the money.....unless you went with a group you were annoyed by, then....do not trap yourself in the car with them for 8 or more hours no matter where you are or how fantastic the trip is....... :-)

You could do this trip more cheaply as a self-drive activity, but we wanted a break from driving. Having a guided tour made for an easy and relaxing trip.

Our driver/guide (Marcia) was passionate about the canyon and full of lots of facts and first hand experience of living and working in the canyon, which is much more interesting than simple turning up at a view point to peer over the edge.

Not sure if it's unusual, but we were the only people on the trip, so it a was effectively a private tour. Pace was just right for us and we could spend as much time as we needed at each stopping point. Picnic lunch provided. Also received some good advice from Marcia about where to go to the following day.

We really had a great time. Since it was 3 of us the tour was essential a private one. They pick you up at your Flagstaff hotel, in a large, comfortable SUV and head out. Laura our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. Antelope Canyon is not to be missed! A basic lunch is provided, along with drinks etc. Expect a long trip as the distances between Flagstaff and the sites are vast.

This tour was truly a waste of time and money. Our guide, he actually never said his name, although nice did not speak for the first 15 minutes of picking us up, and then he only told us that there wasn’t much in the scenery to speak about.

If we had simply gone to the Grand Canyon National Park on our own and read the signs posted at the vantage point we would have seen exactly what was shown on the tour. If you want a guided tour pick another one. We basically paid for lunch and a chafer.

I do thank you the staff for accommodating my son's dietary restrictions, but that was the only positive thing I could really say about this "tour".

The ride seemed longer than expected because it was very boring, no one was talking. We were a group of 6 people (ages 17 to 79) plus 2 other older passengers.
I had never Not tipped a guide tour, but this tour was my first exception.
