“wow”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

These runis are amazing! It takes a bit to get out there. Don't take a low car as you may hit bottom. You feel like you are driving forever and wonder if you've taken a wrong turn, but keep going. You'll get there, and it is WORTH it!

“Make Sure Your Vehicle Can Handle The Trip There”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Palatki was closed on the day we went, despite us making reservations the day before. Honanki was open, and the ruins are spectacular. It is a tough drive over washboard roads. A 4-wheel drive or at least something with decent clearance is a necessity.

“Just OK”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

This place was just OK. I thought I would see more petroglyphs. Some of the walls were marked with graffiti which is unfortunate. Much of my dismay came from the trip out there. The directions say it's 10 miles on the dirt road but it felt like forever. Just the time it took to get out there and back to uptown Sedona killed the excitement for me. FYI-This site will accept the Red Rock pass and there are bathrooms there but there is no sink and they don't want you to throw the toilet paper in the toilet. Yuck!! Make sure you bring some wet wipes with you!
