I spent 4 days in Sedona with a girlfriend to go to a Workshop. She has a Wyndham timeshare so we stayed at Wyndham Sedona . ..it was a really nice place. We had this fabulous patio on the second floor and spent our mornings drinking coffee and evenings drinking wine . . . . staring at the fabulous mountains. Now I'm a water girl. I grew up on the beach in Southern California so the desert isn't my idea of the ultimate vacation . . . . But there is something about Sedona . . . . I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The only downside is the hide-a-bed in the living room is awful! You are much better off sleeping o...

Wyndham Sedona is a smaller resort with good location and activities. The weekend activities was highlighted by a presentation from Brian Benally, a Navajo speaker. There was also an evening of flute playing which we enjoyed from the patio while viewing the incredible night sky.
Our grandkids loved the pool (open 24-hours) and game room. The eldest also won a door prize of a 2-hour jeep tour.
The resort is close to Safeway, Basha's, and a natural food market.
The two bedroom lockout was spacious 1,500 sq ft. Although the couches and chairs showed some wear, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nice resort, helpful people, great activities desk. Pool very nice with soothing piano music. Large jacuzzi open all night. Sedona is awesome by itself anyway!
It is a timeshare, but not at all pushy. Close to everything. Took a tour to the Grand Canyon which took all day-highly recommend that-don't drive yourself.

This resort is smaller than most Wyndhams we have stayed in but this was a nice change. The location is great, near the main street through town. Love the pool was open 24 hrs. One night we stayed in the jacuzzi until 3am watching the stars which are incredible, saw 3 shooting stars. We had a 1 bedroom deluxe, very spacious, our balcony was huge but didn't have a table. Staff was nice. They did not pressure us with the timeshare sales. They asked, we said no, and never heard about it again. Beautiful view of the red rock mountains. The only complaint I would have is the noise. We could hear everything in our room, including people talking in the unit next to us which woke me up every morning.

The man and woman at the Concierge Desk were way too pushy in trying to sell us on timeshares. They wouldn't give up on trying to sign us up for a presentation lunch or breakfast after we had said no thankyou many times. They started asking personal questions! Finally my husband had to raise his voice and the man got angry and told us to leave! Wow! Not a good way to present timeshares for sale. I wrote an email to the Vice-President and received a lukewarm response. This situation made our stay in Sedona unpleasant, as we have never been treated so rudely!

We recently spend 4 days in Sedona. The Wyndham property is very nice. It is a block or two off the main drag and is well maintained. The unit we stayed in was very nice with up to date furnishings and appliances. The bed was very comfortable and up to date bathroom. The property is close to many restaurants and the main part of town. Hiking and biking are also just a short drive away. For the most part a quite and peaceful property. We could occasionally hear loud bangs from the commercial property behind our unit, ? trash or pallets. The central air makes more noise than I would prefer. Good pool and hot tub, friendly and helpful staff. Overall an enjoyable stay, would stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms on west and south sides are quieter

Sedona is beautiful, and the Wyndham lets you take it all in. It's a short drive from the main part of town where most restaurants are and excursions leave from. There are several restaurants and a few bars within walking distance, too. After a long day of hiking, relax in the pool or hot tub. Listen to live music and roast marshmallows right on the pool deck. Sit on your balcony and watch the sunset over the redrocks while having a beer from the nearby brewery. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They can really help you get the most out of your trip. Just ask to not be in a room with a connecting door to another unit, as the doors are thin and you can hear your neighbors more than you will like. I will definitely visit sedona and stay at this Wyndham again.
