Owner description: The Sedona Heritage Museum presents the history of the Sedona area, from post-Civil War days to the present. Located in Jordan Historical Park, the Museum is composed of 3 historic landmark buildings, a tent house replica, and a restored movie set building; exhibits of pioneer mementos, farm equipment, historic photos, and more can be found throughout the buildings and along the pathways of the park. Besides an encounter with history, it's a great place for a picnic lunch. And the beauty of Sedona's red rocks makes it a perfect location for a wedding ceremony.

A well organized look at Sedona,s history. Especially interesting is the old apple shed in which old apple sorting machinery is on display. One of the main crops grown by the Schnebly family was of course, apples. It is well worth the time to visit and enjoy. Children will love the old machinery and the adults will too.

The museum was just the right size for our children. It is basically a historic house where the rooms have been arranged by topic, showing you how earlier residents lived: play room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, school... the scale of the museum and items on display (some can be touched) was just perfect to keep our children interested. They also have a couple of old barns with equipment that was used in the apple orchard, and apple and peach trees at the entrance. Their little gift shop had very reasonable prices. Staff was very cordial.

It was okay. $5 a person to walk around. Not a lot to see but learned about the original family that lived there.

This is a neat little museum housed in an old farmstead. It is not funded by any government agency, staffed entirely by volunteers, and the $5 entry fee is well worth it. Lots of old items that were used by the farmers and ranchers in the local area, and the old tractors and fire truck are rare. This is a fun 2-3 hour side trip and unfortunately seems to be the only 'real' museum in the Sedona area.

Visited again after three years and enjoyed the visit as much as the first. Well staffed and documented and still very interesting. New exhibits made the time enjoyable and fun. Will return in a few more to see what's new.
