You can find an Oasis in Sedona Arizona, Mexican Style at american prices. The service is good the environment is superb, the taste a little bit more than regular for soft tasters (talking about hot chile). You can enjoy of the good service with a touch of spanish- mexican- american elegancy, with not the taste of the autwentic Mexican restaurants but the place and the environment inside the complex of the art galleries and shop stores make your day after hiking in the mountains and trails around Sedona in Arizona. A really an encounter with nature and with the earth origins......

Food and atmosphere were great. Service was very good. Enjoyed the respite from the heat for a cold brew and some good Mexican food.

El Rincon is a little more spendy than what I am used to for Mexican food, but it was really good. What do you expect from a touristy area like Sedona? The tamales were exceptional (I tried both kinds). They seem to be known for the chimichangas so we got the machaca. It was really tasty, but smothered in sauce it lost its crispness. Maybe sauce on the side would be the way to go. Margaritas are very strong, but when you drop $8.75 I would expect nothing less. Surroundings are neat and I would recommend this place.

Side note.... Waiter was a talker and I am sure full of it. "Big property owner in the area", "independently wealthy", "wife is a physicists",.... On and on.... Why are you waiting tables again?

We ate here because it was close to the Los Abrigados resort. Will never go back. High prices, so-so food, lame service
