“Great Location”
Reviewed December 20, 2013 via mobile

Drove up to Sedona on business and decided to stop at El Rincon for lunch. The waitstaff greater us as we walked in which made us feel comfortable. The service was fast and the food was very good. Looking forward to retuning in our next visit.

“"Nestled in the Splendor of Tlaquepaque"??”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

Nestled in the splendor of Tlaquepaque? Not in December! Tlaquepaque was bleak and most shops were closed up! El Rincon was open Sunday evening and the hostess asked us if we had reservations, which surprised us, since there was hardly anyone in the restaurant or even visiting Tlaquepaque shops! (Most shops were closed anyway!) The food was good but definitely not the finest we've ever had and the drinks were way over priced too. We know this isn't the most popular time of the year to visit El Rincon and Tlaquepaque but the way Tlaquepaque was poorly lit, (very little if any Christmas lighting), and with most shops closed, we wouldn't have made the effort to walk through the area to get to El Rincon for dinner. Simply, there wasn't much splendor and the food was just okay.

“Large portions and nice atmosphere ”
Reviewed December 8, 2013 via mobile

We liked the space it was broken into smaller rooms. And of course the Village is wonderful. Portions were large and very good. The server was very efficient and friendly. The chips were not fantastic but ok.

“Great food”
Reviewed November 27, 2013 via mobile

We are locals, and the food yesterday was great again, as usual. We request hot salsa in addition to the mild salsa they automatically bring and mix the two for better salsa.

I went to get a coat for my wife and saw a couple perusing the outside menu. However, they eventually walked away. I wish i'da had the wherewithal to tell them what they were missing.

Be sure to have the guacamole. It's one of the three best we have ever had (although I am reluctant to say that as it makes expectations so high -- just enjoy it!)
