I traveled with my 80 year old mother. We had room 113 on the main floor. Very noisy due to the fountain and the corridor directly behind the room. The patio had a view of the next room. 2 chairs no table. No view! The in room coffee and tea was good but the non dairy creamer left a little to be desired. I walked to Safeway next door to get milk and tea. There is a Starbucks in the Safeway for those of you that need a proper fix.
We arrived on Thursday afternoon and were given our room straight away. We ate on the roof top terrace and were charged the room service fee to do so. Since there are no tables in the room and room service does not bring you a table it's kind of hard to eat on your bed. There were tables outside at the fountain but a little too public.
We were not told that there was an extra charge to eat outside.20% But it was well worth it;for the view and the weather. We had to leave the terrace before the sunset ;as there was a planned event . There should have been a sign indicating this as there was also a newly wed couple who brought their Champagne from their room that was also forced to leave before they wished. We would like to mention the excellent service of Luis, who ran up and down the stairs and provided excellent service. The food at Reds is very good. Especially the macaroni and cheese served in a mini cast iron skillet. the Vermont maple syrup was a classy touch but the pancakes had no taste. The bagel and lox very really good.
We also went next door to NAMTI for a massage $49.00 for one hour. Janice was excellent. One of the best massages I have ever had. I should have taken the 90 minutes for $69.00 Check them out as they are less than half price of the hotel's spa service.
While there be sure to drive to the Enchantment Resort and have lunch or a drink on their terrace. Heaven on earth.
Local restaurant The Barking Frog has amazing ribs and really good lunch.
If you are looking for inexpensive t-shirts visit Walgreen's as they are 3 for $12.00
The engineering/maintenance dept worked hard to make sure that our stay was positive. They lowered the bed for my mom and also fixed the shower. But the hand shower that was supposed to be adjustable for wheelchair use was held in place by a Phillips screw and was not able to be lowered to a chair height. it needs to be replaced.
The 3rd night free and the $30.00 a day credit made this a very reasonable price for 3 days.
The pool was a little too cold for me but the hot tub was perfect. Never crowded.

All in all a nice place to stay.

We went through luxurylink.com and got a 3 night package with spa and dining credits. We were supposed to go last year but had family emergency. The hotel accommodated our situation and let us push our stay to this year. It was something they did not have to do as it was a non-refundable package when we go it. This was very nice for them to do for us and will always rank very high in our minds! The front desk and the concierge were extremely helpful. We ate at Reds for breakfast and late night snacks because of the dining credit. Food was really nice, and they offer $5 glass of wine on wed and thu, so we really enjoyed that! The hotel room was nice although our room had a view of the Safeway across the street. We enjoyed the hiking as it was our first trip to Sedona. We will come back for sure and definitely will stay here again. The massages at the spa were wonderful as well.

We just returned from our outstanding stay at Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa and it was fabulous. With the 3rd day special & the $30 daily credits it was the icing on the cake.
Great rooms w/ very comfy beds & large walk-in shower w/ 2 heads was therapy after along day of hiking or GCNP excursion. Everyone from front desk to maids service were
there to accomidate you. Reds is a real nice restaurant as well, didnt need to go anywhere else. Outdoor areas w/ pool/jacuuzi were nice and so were the fireplaces.
Met great folks there as well!

Stay in the Spa room if you can. It is in a separate building. It was so quiet and relaxing! While you are there you must eat at Elote. It has fabulous Mexican food.

My wife and I stayed at the Sedona Rouge between October 7-10. I attended a conference till 1:30pm on both days, which left my wife wonderful morning sleeping time on the excellent king bed. The Sedona Rouge is a boutique hotel situated midpoint on the main drag of spiritually sophisticated Sedona, Arzona. A well appointed, subdued, and nicely landscaped hotel with a bubbling courtyard fountain and a lobby situated behind glass doors off the main open courtyard, this place satisfied my senses. It's multi-colored, earth-toned stucco and quirky architecture of jutting angles and lines made for a visually interesting and relaxing environment. It's pricey ticket seems to keep the rowdy clientele and their families elsewhere, as all we noticed was peace and quiet, which suited us just fine. In fact, we were always solo at the outdoor pool and hot tub when we used them. The exercise room was clean and well stocked. Staff were everywhere ensuring that the hotel stayed clean and supplied. The front desk personnel and the concierge (a nice touch) were friendly and helpful. The only problem we encountered was when we asked that housekeeping service be suspended for our stay and they came in for turndown service when we were gone one evening. Since we had not asked for it, did not know that they had that service, did not know that they distinguished between housekeeping and turndown service, and had not told us the difference or ask us if we wished to suspend the turndown service also, we feel that our request had been violated. A small thing, but as I explained to the front desk, we should have been told that our request for no housekeeping did not extend to someone coming in and making our bed. They appeared to understand. Our room's patio faced the room's patio directly across from us, as well as there being a patio each on either side of us. A problem if each room's occupants wanted to be alone to peacefully relax in the wonderful grass and bamboo landscaping, but, surprising enough, that never happened. My wife had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, Reds, and she said that it was somewhat high priced for the offerings. I had breakfast catered by the hotel as part of the conference, which was standard and adequate. The meeting accommodations were more than adequate for our needs. One other thing...I had not know that the agreement between the hotel and the conference directors was to add a $2 per day housekeeping service charge to our bills for the conference room housekeeping. I think that this is quite tacky. This should have been part of my conference fee or I should have been quoted the rate with the $2 per day included, given that I got a substantial discount due to the conference. Again, a small thing, yet I like to share my entire experience so that people can take these items into consideration. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and very much enjoyed our stay here. We would stay here again given that the two items at issue did not interfere with the ambience and competency of this hotel.
