This is the fancy room at the Cowboy Club. It is more elegant and quieter and great for a romantic dinner. The servers were a little hassled so we didn't get the best treatment but we all had the rib-eye steaks and they were great. An appetizer of mini pork shanks was also terrific. You need a reservation since this is a somewhat small section of the restaurant.

Centrally located, this restaurant serves good steak in a fine dining atmosphere. Its other half serves almost identical menu in a more casual dining with longer hours.
Silver Saddle's only drawback were its hours: dinner begins at 5 p.m. and vacationers may get hungry at 4 or 4:30... The staff was courteous for the most part and the steaks were made as requested. Cactus fries are a must try - especially for those visiting from outside US.

This is in the heart of Sedona, attached to the Cowboy Club but more quiet and adult only dining. They have a patio in front which seemed loud and busy. The indoor s is mostly booths and quiet with mahogany and table cloths. We did make reservations knowing that it could be busy and it was. It is not a huge place, more intimate. When we entered, the male checked our reservation and mentioned my husbands birthday and even asked how old he is. Hmmm. We were immediately seated in a nice booth. No sooner did we sit down and a girl brought to us an Amuse of Fried Ravioli stuffed with ground lamb and chopped pepper and cream cheese. It was tasty, but cold and way too soon, didn't even open a menu or get a server yet or water and food was right there. The menu's are large and heavy and kind of outdated old. Once we got that ravioli we had to wait quite awhile to get water or a server. Some other people were taking up a lot of the servers time chit chatting. That is fine but why couldn't a bus person at least give us water while she was giving us that Raviolli.. Finally the server came by and gave the water and asked if we wanted to order. No, we came here to enjoy and order some wine first. It seemed rush rush. But at the same time lacked in servers. Maybe they use some servers to help in the Cowboy club next door. When Lindsay the server came by she was apologetic and accommodated.
The menu had appetizers of cactus fries, rattlesnake bites, however we passed on those since those are fairly common in Sedona and the Southwest and have had that many times before in grill type places, not fine dining places, so we opted for a house salad which was fresh and white balsamic dressing that was tasty. The menu is fairly traditional fair of meats and chops, fish and, game. I had Blackened Buffalo Flank with dark ale wild mushrooms, sweet potato mash & sautéed greens. Meat cooked perfectly and sweet potatoes were very tasty, however the sautéed greens were extremely vinegary so I told the server and she accommodated with a plate of snap peas and sautéed onions which was very good. The free range Elk Chop was cooked just right with roasted potatoes, glazed baby carrots & tart cherry demi. The dessert menu came which had a few regular items, carrot cake, sundae, chocolate cake, crème brule, cobbler. We ordered the carrot cake, which was 6 layers with pineapple & coconut with pecans and good frosting. The server said it is going to be a huge piece, it was a very thin cut piece and the priciest on the desert menu at 9.49 for 1 piece, however it was tasty. It was just a bit surprising after the staff that seated us and the server all knew it was my husbands b day that they didn't even write Happy Birthday in chocolate syrup on the plate or even give a scoop of ice cream with syrup as a compliment. Most restaurants do that type of thing for events. It's not like we just ate a salad , we racked up the bill with a bottle of wine, salad ,entre's and dessert. We weren't overly impressed and felt this was not true fine dining like some others in Sedona, this was more casual fine dining. It was passible and a bit pricier for that type of dining, need to upscale it a bit more.

We had a wonderful meal here. Our filet was fantastic and service was great until the place started hopping at which point the service fell a bit The Saddle Room is intimate and has a classy Southwestern feel. Thie Saddle Room is not as refined as an upscale steakhouse, but the food was just as good at a much more reasonable price level.

Sat outside with the mist hitting us in the face! The first day we had the appetizer, buffalo, rattle snake, and cactus fries and a bowl of chili. The chili was so good that I had to go back the next day and have the chili nachos. Yum! Great service and reasonably priced!
