“Very good and generous portions”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

I came to Sedona two years ago, for a days visit. I loved Sedona and decided to come back, and stay longer. The first time I visited was in the hotter season and my husband and I sat outside; this time it was February far colder so sat inside. Both times visiting this Restaurant the food and the service great. Both my husband and I have food intolerance and I cannot eat Gluten products and my husband has the lesser known problem with Pepper white and black (condiment). This was not a problem for the staff and the food was delicious.
Wish we lived nearer.

“Love This Place”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

The Cowboy Club is one place we always return to. I need my fix of Buffalo Burgers. The Silver Saddle is great when you want something a little fancier. The food is richer and delicious.

“Keep on ridin' to another restaurant.....”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Arrived on a Wednesday evening, about seven....
menu looked appealing , and the ambience of the dining room inviting....
there were just two of us, but even at this hour, we had to wait in the bar for about forty minutes....
surrounded by a raucous, loud mixed crowd, in an overly bright, cafeteria atmosphere, dishes clanking, raised voices....
margaritas were less than ordinary, rattlesnake appetizers took so long, our table was ready before the snake, so we had to settle our bill at the bar, then make our way to a very nice booth in the dining room....
and the snake still didn't slither in for another fifteen minutes....???...tasty, somewhat chewy, and no, did not taste like chicken but overdone fish.....
my companion ordered a good prime rib, somewhat fatty, and I ordered the vegetable pot pie....filled with bland, soggy vegetables, in an unidentifiable gravy....DO NOT order this one....I was hungry, but could not bear to finish it.....a rather crispy, charred crust that was placed on top of the vegetable concoction, like last week's flat, dry biscuit....
We skipped dessert....
Bar service was passable and slow....table service personable, but slow, and we waited for the check for a long time, despite the fact that by the time we were done with dinner, I believe there were only two other tables occupied.....
Bottom line??? There is no excuse for poor cuisine nor for poor service.....skip this one!!!!

“Great food and unique menu”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We ate there with 22 adults and teens and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The halibut was served with a mango salsa and may be the tastiest fish I have ever eaten! They had something called chicken in a pot that was good too. The buffalo tenderloin was not as tasty as some other options. I tried the cactus fries so I could say I ate cactus, but I would not reorder them. The fact that John Wayne sat in the restaurant bar was very cool.
