“Eating with friends and family”

Troia's is like visiting family for dinner and discovering that the food was just as wonderful as you remembered... The Resturant is very bright and airy with super service from Cindy ( what a great attitude and very helpful and she takes time to insure that aqll is well)... We arrived early enough to enjoy sunset with a local wine that was wonderful (Echo Canyon Triad 2003).....
Chef's presentation, appertizer, the chef special of raviola stuffed with butternut squash and a Italian sausages dish were all super. Troia's reminds me of the family run resturants that we fell in love with in Italy. We will return the next time we are in Sedona

“Simply supurb food and delightful service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2009

What a lovely restaurant! Very unassuming on the outside, and so welcoming inside. Just one big room, open to the kitchen, very nicely lit and decorated. And the food -- terrific attention to detail and fine ingredients. I was there with my wife and three small children, and although initially I was worried about all the fine glassware and white tablecloths with my 3-year-old, the staff made him feel very welcome and the menu suited him and the older two just fine. My daughter has a gluten allergy, but Troias offer gluten-free pizza -- which she declared was the best she had ever had! A great place, so relaxed yet going there still feels like a special event.

We dined at Troia's twice during our 6 day stay in Sedona. Our server was Cesar who was very attentive to our needs. The presetation of the meal was excellent. We highly recommend Troia's for a fine dining experience. The owner Sam was a great host.

“The food and service were wonderful!”

During our vacation in Sedona we ate at Troia's and were pleasantly surprised. The owners take great pride in their restaurant and rightly so. The minestrone soup was fabulous (bigger cup of soup with dinner, please!!) and so was the sole. The broccoli sauteed in garlic was the best I ever had (honestly!) and I was pleased that they offer gluten-free pasta. I'm glad we chose Troia's on a whim (I hadn't read any reviews).

“Enjoyable Italian restaurant with great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2009

Troia'a, an Italian restaurant on 89A in West Sedona, serves wonderfully cooked food. The restaurant has one large dining area and an open kitchen. The dining room is a bit stark but pleasant. Service is prompt and excellent. Started with cold cucumber soup on a hot summer night and then had a superbly cooked and presented Dover sole, a pleasant surprise out here in the high desert. Pizza and salad were also very good. A glass of Riesling accompanied the meal. Well brewed espresso and a cappuccino with desert ended the meal nicely.
