My husband and I enjoyed our return visit to Troia's on our vacation in Sedona. We had been here last year twice and were glad to return. We both had the braised short ribs accompanied by creamy polenta and garlic sautéed broccoli. The meat was so tender that it melted in our mouths and the flavor was full and rich. The polenta was a bit runny for my taste but the flavor was quiet good. We both started the meal with a Caesar salad. The romaine was nice and crisp and the dressing was mild. I actually like a little more garlic and anchovy taste in my Caesar salad but this one was pretty good. We were too full for dessert on this visit but the last time we had the tiramisu which was rich and creamy.
The décor is very modern and the view of the red rocks out the front window is amazing. This is why folks come to Sedona so Troia's has an advantage with their big views. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being prepared. The staff is friendly and very efficient.
