Blue Moon Cafe is tucked into a small strip mall next to the bike rental store in the VOC (Village of Oak Creek) a "suburb" of Sedona. One has the choice of eating inside or outside with outside being our choice. We shared chicken wings served in their original sauce which was quite good. One has the choice of degrees of spiciness. Of course, carrots and celery were also served along with their home-made Ranch dressing which was awesome! While the food was great and the staff helpful and friendly we enjoyed Zuzu (Zoozoo?) the most! Zuzu is a small cocker mix dog who wandered to our table. We immediately fell under her spell. Being an animal lover I began to wonder if she was lost but was soon informed she belongs to the Bike Rental store right next door. Zuzu is well mannered and quietly affection and checked every outdoor table in the hopes of a snack or two. Poor thing just didn't understand why no one, and I mean NO ONE, gave her even a small tidbit. I guess that's because she can't read the small sign attached to her collar which reads, "Please don't feed me!". Good food, nice views but Zuzu with the pink bandana around her neck made our day! Soooo, go have some good food with great views and the bonus of meeting Zuzu on her trek to finding one small snack!
