If you are looking for a good omelet, this is the place to go. They offer 101 omelets plus anything else you might want for breakfast. Service is quick and food is excellent. Weekends you might have a wait however we were there on a Thursday so we got seated immediately.

We had an excellent breakfast on our last day in Sedona. The food was great and the prices were better. We had two of their vaunted 101 different omelet selections. They also have other breakfast selections some standard fare and others more exotic. We were prepared for a hefty bill in this tourist town, but their prices were pleasantly about what we would pay at home. We will definitely visit them again next time we are in Sedona.

This place had been was recommended to us by a friend who had been there while on a vacation - and also by the staff person at our hotel. It was popular for sure. Expect to wait to be seated!

I guess you could say they get 5 stars for getting the table cleared and ready for the next set of guests after one set of guests leaves - the table clearing bus-staff move in quickly as a table is vacated.

We were brought a pitcher of water and carafe of coffee to the table - nice to have so that you don't have to wait for your server to come by and ask if you want more.

And . . . never having been there we were unfamiliar with the menu and were not ready to order when our server, who was very pleasant, came - MISTAKE - it took her forever (and then some) to come back to get our order. And . . after our meal, then it took forever to get our check (which you pay at the cash register at the front. It became obvious to us that their mission is getting people in and out and then new people in. We like to enjoy a leisurely meal and time together.

My omelet was overcook and the biscuits, which I'd asked about and was told were very good - were "OK" - My husband's breakfast (I don't even remember what it was) was "OK." We'd asked for ketchup and hot sauce; it was forgotten until we caught our server again.

With the water and coffee on the table, the server doesn't come back!!! Then it took forever to get our check. We won't be back (and we hope our friends don't ask how we liked it!)

This throwback American & Mexican restaurant evokes a cowboy/vaquero feel rather than the trendy 'cuisine' typical of a usual Sedona New Age style restaurant. You can't go wrong with 101 choices for omelette ingredients including the "peanut butter & jelly" concoction. I recommend omelette #68 with Jack Cheese and veggies and you might want a side of a personal favorite, the rich & fragrant buckwheat pancakes which are hard to find these days. This locale is a favorite of old-time visitors who remember an uncrowded Sedona of the 1950s with its dude ranches and horses hitched outside. Indeed, the Coffee Pot opened in 1955 and has collected a loyal clientele for decades.

Prices are reasonable but don't come for dinner; they'll be closed. Parking can be hard to find on Saturday mornings and you might have to walk a bit but that's fine, with Sedona's usually pristine air. Bottom line: No worries over counting calories, organic ingredients or genetically-modified food here and please don't ask about them as you would spoil the old school atmosphere. Just live it up by enjoying good ole breakfast food at The Coffee Pot.

Our third visit to the Coffee Pot in a few years! It was not crowded as normal due to the press coverage of the Slide Rock fire, which, by the way, was out and there were bright blue skies and no smoke! We went for the Mom and Pop basics, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with a side of sausage, just in case! Hubby had a jalapeno omelet with hash browns and a homemade biscuit. Trust me, you won't need lunch on the day you have breakfast there. Coffee was on the table, no waiting for refills and the staff was terrific. Felt like we were in our hometown breakfast joint! Great place to begin your day on a positive note!
