We never imagined such a character-rich ‘boutique villa,’ with every amenity at our fingertips. We awoke to the scent of fresh-baked bread in our room, customized meals from Chef Michael Merilli (vegetarian, vegan and keto-minded, as well) and the very personable villa staff.
Our themed villa was the Wagon Wheel (see pics). Unlike most chain hotels or B&Bs, we couldn’t wait to return to the luxe pool, hot tub (or room jacuzzi) and 24/7 hors d’oeuvers, based on our day’s events. The available in-room Spa Treatments spanned the individual ‘Rejuvenating Massage’ to instructing sensual ‘Couples Loving Touch.’
We used the centrally-located, Adobe Grand Villa as our base camp for day trips to the surrounding sites.

We will be back next year!

This review is several months late. My family (two kids, ages 8 and 6), spent four nights here during spring break. The room was enormous, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable - it was the best sleep I've ever gotten on vacation. It was very convenient to have the little kitchenette, especially with the kids. Every day there was fresh baked bread waiting for us after hiking or touring Sedona. Snacks and drinks were replenished every day as well, and it was key that water was plentiful and included. The breakfasts were delicious each morning, and the appetizers in the evening were amazing. The cookies were a delight! Even though the pool wasn't open, we had fun hanging in the hot tub. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We spent our last two nights at the giant resort in the red rocks so that our kids could enjoy some pool time. The minute we walked into our room there (which they did not allow us to access until right up to check-in), we wished we could go back to Adobe Grand. There were so many amenities at Adobe Grand; at the resort we were nickled and dimed for everything (even bottles of water). I would absolutely stay at the Adobe Grand again and not waste any money on the big resort if we went back to Sedona!!

Room tip: The rooms on the ground floor are very easy to access if you are traveling with kids, and they have a lovely little yard out back!

My family (two kids ages five and eight) spent two nights here. We have been away for awhile and this felt like home. For us the highlights included a beautiful pool with a shaded area to read, fresh flavored water and lemonade, homemade cookies and a spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast was spectacular - Chefs Michael and Jacqueline made accommodations per our preferences and it was delicious. Every staff member was so kind. We will be back!

I’ve stayed at Adobe Grand Villas three times now, and every time my stay is fantastic. I’ve also stayed at larger resort style 5 star hotels in the area, but I always come back to this little gem. This property has it all...beautiful grounds, unique, cozy (but huge) rooms, outstanding service, and breakfast is always something special. The details at the Villas are what make it truly special with the freshly baked bed in your room to unlimited free snacks and water during your stay. I also love that the location is right in the middle of things, and parking is free. Oh...and don’t forget to book a massage with Robin. She’s the best!
