My husband and I just returned from a memorable three night stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by Julie who took us to our room and showed us around the property. We stayed in the Country Garden Villa. It looked like a beautiful cottage. The room is decorated with so much detail it was hard to take it all in. It felt like something out of a fairy tale. The room was spotless and large. The bathroom was huge. The bed was so comfortable. The room had snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, and fresh baked bread. The onsite staff was friendly and accommodating. The highlight of our stay was the dinner we had prepared by Chef Michael. It was absolutely delicious. Both Chef Michael and Gabe were so friendly. I would highly recommend a stay at the Adobe. It is a unique experience.

Stepping through the gate you are reminded of old Mexico.
The grounds are compact but alive with flowers, water features and cozy winding pathways.
We stayed in "Timbers" with its hugh wood bed which you have to see to believe as it's really special.
The gas fireplace opposite the bed, while not needed as it was well above 100 degrees during the day and not much cooler outside at night, gave the room a nice rustic feel.
There is also another gas fireplace in the bathroom next to the whirlpool tub.
The bathroom is massive with two vessel sinks and a walk-in waterfall shower that's just too cool for words.
There is a seperate little room for the toilet insuring privacy if someone else needs to be in the bathroom at the same time.
BTW, the towels and washcloths were the most delightful smelling plus as soft as could be.
The nicest I've ever seen in any hotel I've stayed in.
Since this is a suite, there is a nice kitchen area with, of all things, a breadmaker.
When we arrived there was a fresh loaf of bread in the breadmaker and you can have the staff bake another loaf for you every day if you wish; a distinctive and pleasant surprise.
The restaurant serves an included breakfast starting around 08:30. We ate outside next to the pool. Food and service were excellent.
There is a spa on the property but we did not use it so cannot comment.
I could go on but the short story is stay there if you can.
It's a really neat place.

Room Tip: Some villas are up stairs so if stairs are a challenge try for a first floor villa. There are no el...

Let me begin by stating that this is my first review on Tripadvisor. But based on our recent magical experience at the Adobe Grand Villas, I feel obligated to share the details of this gem with others. The Adobe Grand Villas are absolutely incredible!! From the attentive, welcoming staff, to the amazing villas, to the incredible culinary creations of Chef Michael, the entire experience was fantastic. We travel fairly extensively and have somewhat discriminating tastes in lodging. After researching Sedona accommodations, we ultimately narrowed our selection to two luxury options. I am so pleased we opted for AGV. It was truly a one of a kind experience. The villas are located a short distance from Uptown Sedona (where many hotels are located). The location is one of the many positive attributes of the hotel as it is very close to Uptown, but also sufficiently removed so that you are not situated in the middle of the many tourist traps of that area. The setting is peaceful, quiet, and serene, Additionally, the rooms are spacious and unique. We stayed in the French Quarter, which evoked the feeling of Paris in the Springtime. Magical. The villa also has a great view of the Red Rocks. The attention to detail in the villas is astounding. It was also lovely to return from a long day of exploring to the smell of fresh baked bread. Wonderful touch. Finally, there are simply not enough wonderful adjectives to describe the creations of Chef Michael. He is simply a genius. He prepared a meal for us in our room which was sublime. The gourmet breakfast offerings varied from pastries, omelettes, and bananas foster French toast just to mention a few. All were phenomenal. We will definitely return. Thank you AGV for an amazing vacation.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are fantastic, although I recommend a second story room for the best views of the R...

I am not sure where to start because I am still speechless and amazed by how beautiful and fantastic this place is... please read all the comments below and you will get the picture! I would like to point out that this was absolutely an unforgettable vacation for both my husband and myself! (Please note: my husband is very picky!) We stayed for 4 nights and that was our first visit to Sedona. We knew it will be nice, but not THAT nice! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Maria and an awesome smell of fresh bread... it's like they researched and found the perfect formula of 'what makes people happy when on vacation' because they deliver just that. Breakfast was yummy and they will accommodate any dietary request you might have. We had Chef Michael cook for us one night and that was a true treat we will never forget! Perfect food, setting, and atmosphere!
The grounds are manicured and well kept, there is no one corner on the property that is neglected... we stayed at the Whispering Pine and it was gorgeous!!! But, if you care for the view... you should take a room on the second floor. Our room had a beautiful patio that we enjoyed sitting at and relax. Next time we visit Adobe Grand Villas, we will try a room on the second floor.
Everyone on staff was warm, friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. They really take the time to engage just to figure out what else can they do to make the stay there UNFORGETTABLE!
About Sedona, we really think it's a hidden gem... breathtaking views, lots of things to do, great food, quiet, clean, and romantic. Next time, we are taking the kids, stay in Adobe Grand Villas and do the things we didn't do, like the hot air balloon ride...

Room Tip: All rooms are huge and beautiful and very well equipped! But, if you care for the views of the mount...

Hard to know where to begin. The innkeeper was friendly and welcoming as was Michael, the chef, who was also on board when we arrived. Michael made a dinner recommendation, Ken's Creekside, which worked out great. We were in the "Timbers" villa. Wonderful decor, great amenities, and much more. Fresh bread, warm, was waiting in the room along with all kinds of fun snacks ( Cheetos and Cracker Jacks to name a couple... what a fun place!). The place was huge and the bath was crazy big with terrific touches including a fireplace by the tub and a waterfall shower and sinks. The breakfast was terrific. The morning we were there it was a variation on eggs benedict with corned beef rather than the Canadian bacon you might be accustomed to. It was great as were the freshly baked muffins, fresh fruit, and everything else. The staff was terrific and made us all feel at home. If it is in your budget you should absolutely stay here.

The Adobe Grand Villas was above and beyond my mother and I’s expectations! From the moment we stepped foot on the property it was a feast for the eyes. The architecture, fountains, gardens and sculptures are woven together with brick pathways, which led us to our secluded Red Cinder Suite. Upon entering, the room was filled with the smell of fresh baked bread. Between enjoying our hot bread with butter and taking dips in the Jacuzzi, we thought we had died and gone to heaven. I might add that we’d been camping the night before in the beautiful Oak Creek Canyon.
With some questions about Sedona, we headed toward the lobby where Michael and his staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and take care of all of our needs. After a long day of exploring galleries, eateries, and parks, we took a dip in the pool then spent the rest of the evening stargazing on our private patio.

Longing to return to Sedona to experience the Grand Villas once more. Thanks again Michael, for the incredible food and hospitality during our stay!

We stayed in the Adobe Grand Villas for 2 nights. We scheduled a massage which was excellent. We also scheduled the Chef's dinner. The Chef Michael, is the best. His food in my opinion was better than anything we tried in town. Everyone on the staff is gracious and friendly. They make you feel like you are never a burden no matter what. It is a very quiet, peaceful play to stay. The room we stayed in was the twin kyoty room, beautiful view and had everything you could want and more. My husband and I were saying it would be the perfect place in as full time lodging.

You absolutely can not go wrong staying here.
