“Beautiful!Friendly!!”
Reviewed July 2, 2012 via mobile

Lovely, romantic honeymoon getaway! Everything from the villas, fresh baked bread, pool, food, view were superb! In my opinion the thing that makes this place standout above the rest is that the staff is down to earth, friendly and made their guests feel welcomed and right at home.

It's always such a pleasure to stay at the Adobe Grand in their palatial villas and feel like pampered pups during our entire visit . Dinner, cooked and served by Michael in our Hacienda is perfection every time and the friendliness of the entire staff make us feel as though we have come to luxuriate in our western home. It is n Oasis in the desert and If you haven't been there , you don't know what you're missing!!

We decided to stay here at the last minute because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We checked out of the Four Seasons in Scottsdale and were coming off of the great service at the Four Seasons.....This place was a perfect choice. The rooms, service, food and staff were outstanding! We stayed in Silver Spur 101. It is two story villa decorated with a western theme. The staff is very accommodating and polite and they make it clear that they are happy to help you in any way they can. The daily fresh bread in the room was delicious and the snacks and drinks were a welcome treat each day after being out in the heat. The pool is great for lounging and they let us use their blender in the kitchen to make frozen daiquiri for the pool. We will absolutely be back and next time we will take advantage of the personal dinner they offer and the spa services.
This IS THE PLACE to stay in Sedona or even for Flagstaff too.

Room Tip: Silver spur 101 is awesome and near the front entrance but still very quiet.

My husband and I spend Memorial weekend in the Antiquities Villa. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. We had a patio that overlooked the pool and hot tub area (but was very private) and a small garden with a waterfall right outside our front door. The room was well stocked with snacks and beverages and the bath products (Aveda) were wonderful. Afternoon snacks were delicious and were the breakfasts. Highly recommend!

Myself, my husband and best friend were here to celebrate 50th birthdays. Stayed 5 days in the Red Cinder suite in late May. I'll keep this short (because I could rave forever). Although this is one of the most beautiful small properties we've ever experienced, it was the personal touches of the outstanding staff that made out trip unforgettable. You are safe in believing every positive review on Trip Advisor.

My wife & I stayed at AGV from 5/24 to 5/27 and we couldn't have been more pleased with our whole experience. I obsessively read TripAdvisor reviews before our trip and pretty much relied on them for everything we did during our stay in Sedona. We stayed in the White Dove Villa and it was awesome. The room was enormous, the bathroom was larger than some hotel rooms. I believe the resort was pretty well booked during our stay but we really couldn't tell. It was extremely quiet and relaxing. It's obvious that the entire staff works hard to ensure that the guests have an enjoyable experience. The breakfasts were great and each morning we were given the option to have something else if the day's offering didn't sound good to us. We usually missed the afternoon snacks but were sure to sneak down after dinner for cookies that were also crazy good. We scheduled a dinner in our villa one evening and requested a New Orleans-style meal. The chef was gracious and really a pleasure to speak with during our meal planning. We had a 4 course dinner and Chef Michael completely hit it out of the park. My wife & I will be thinking about that meal for a really long time... We've never stayed anywhere where we were treated this well. Give them a try if you get the chance. We're totally looking forward to going back.

Where to start? The helpful, friendly service? The gigantic room which smelled of fresh-baked bread? The small private patio where we sipped wine? The snacks (sliders! lemon shortbread cookies! best bruschetta ever!) each afternoon? The world's comfiest bed? The pool & hot tub? The free omni-present wifi? The MIND-BLOWING breakfast?

Uh, actually, I guess maybe that covers it. Seriously, stay here. My only minor qualm was that it was at the west end of Sedona, but there are good restaurants and shops and a grocery store (not to mention Oak Creek brewpub) nearby, so it's certainly not a hardship. And if you want to go a little further afield and not worry about your wine intake, the staff will put you in touch with Steve, a nice guy who'll drive you anywhere in town in his luxury car for $12.

Room Tip: If you can get an upstairs room you should have a great view.
