Stayed here for a short getaway. The hotel, tucked in a residential neighborhood, just off 89A, has an alluring charm. The rooms are incredibly spacious, beds and linens are wonderful, jacuzzi tub a plus, and the scent of fresh baked bread upon arrival is an added bonus. I had a little mishap while here and the staff couldn't have been nicer, especially Jaquelyn. The only let down was that the Chef, who everyone raved about, was out of town so I couldn't enjoy the private dinner. Breakfasts were wonderful, the ambience was great, and it was definitely a romantic setting. I sat by the fire in the lobby, sipped tea, and just relaxed. Loved my time here and can't wait to return.

My wife and I stayed at the Adobe Grand Villas recently on a last minute whim. The rooms are pricey and not worth it only if you slice and dice the concept of value to the point where it's completely neutered. Of course $400 a night is ridiculous (actually, we received a discount for one night, and a larger one for multiple nights is available this time of year), but you can spend $400 a night at lots of places and not get nearly the splendid experience offered up by the Adobe Grand. There are a myriad of nice touches here, as many others have noted -- from the fresh bread baking in your room to the immense bathrooms with jetted tubs and walk-in showers to the wonderfully comfortable beds and the peaceful romantic ambiance. If you can afford it, why not? As well-appointed and comfortable as the room was, though, there was one incongruous dissonant note. Hung on the walls for decor were several distressed copper pots and pans. As decor these were fine, but they were hung *on nails* like in a dorm room, and you could clearly see the nail heads sticking out. Surely copper hooks or other appropriate hangers could be found!

OK, call me a nitpicker, but there is something about this property that is not quite "luxury." It is, after all, a B&B, and there's a bit of informality. So you ring a handbell in the lobby to find an innkeeper, and there are no innkeepers on property after 7 p.m. We had trouble with our TV around 9 p.m. and called the phone numbers left in your room for assistance. One was not in order and on the other we had to leave a message. To be fair, within 5 minutes or so, a gentlemen came to our room and got the TV squared away (we never did figure out if the problem was due to our inability to figure out the 3 different remotes or to a malfunction, but in any event, 3 remotes and no instructions will always be a recipe for confusion). While we were there, the wifi in rooms was not compatible with apple products so my i-pad didn't work (although my wife's netbook did fine). No problem -- you don't come to a place like this to watch TV or play with your Facebook. Or you shouldn't.

The buildings are not really villas. The property is more like "Adobe Grand Pueblos" -- 2-story tall structures, shoulder-to-shoulder winding around a lovely path. It's actually kind of a tight fit, but they make the most of the available land and the architecture works well. We had a ground floor room with a walled in patio. Upper floors have a terrace and perhaps there are views, but it didn't seem like the views would be an attraction (as they would at other places in Sedona). This is not an outward looking property. The rooms are the thing here -- private, romantic hideaways with just about every convenience you'd need. Indeed, one night -- which is all we spent -- is probably not really a good test. This strikes me as a place where 2 or 3 days are really needed to fully allow yourself to be embedded in the ambiance.

Wow! This place was fantastic. We stayed in Twin Kyody Villa and the room was as good as advertised. Great view, comfortable bed, all the amenities you could ever ask for. We will absolutely stay here again if we get back to Sedona.

We have stayed at B&Bs all over the country and this one is our favorite. High end rooms with exquisite attention to detail. We stayed in the biggest room they have, which is two bedroom with a western theme. It was over the top. Truly an experience in itself. Our kids didn't want to leave the room! Very enjoyable, excellent service, we will stay here anytime we come to Sedona. It is a bit pricey, so it probably fit the bill considering the price, but you have to splurge once in a while. We love this place!!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing adobe grand villas for the fourth time. Set in the amazing red rocks of sedona, it's a truly magical place. As you enter the villas the natural beauty that surrounds you is rich and luxurious. As if you are the star in your own show, the accommodating and friendly staff extend every courtesy and make you feel at home. Each room is an installation art piece that brings you into a symbiosis of comfort and phantasy, giving you a unique experience every time.
Chef, Micheal Merilli, gives Adobe Grand Villas a touch of class that puts it above and beyond any B+B. His food is well crafted, delicious, charming, and brings fine dining to you in the comfort of your room. Always at the top of his game, Chef Micheal will not disappoint even the most scrutinizing palates.
I give Adobe Grand Villas major accolades for their professionalism, attention to detail, and world class amenities. I can't wait for my next visit!

We stayed one night in the Tuscany. What a gorgeous suite. It had everything we needed for a high-end, romantic celebration.

All the villas have 9' entry doors, each one is unique. The hospitality bar with hot beverages was available 24 hours a day. We had a warm baked brie the night of our arrival which we added to our own snacks for "happy hour" on our private patio. The grounds are beautifully landscaped.

We had Chef Michael serve our dinner in the Tuscany kitchenette and the meal was amazing! We selected our menu items 24 hours in advance. The services provided by the staff were prompt, professional and unique. The chef who prepared our breakfast took time to speak to us at our table which was a lovely touch. It was a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for!
