“Ate Here Twice”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Well we finally found some good food and so we ate here twice. Lunch and dinner both outside. We are the lite lunch which had delicious bruchetta the steak and blue cheese one was the best along with the fig and prosciutto. My parents had the shrimp louie which was wonderful and my brother and I had the sliders with fries which were very well prepared. Our server Casey was delightful really on point in attentiveness and very sweet. We also decided on having the dessert which was outrageous. Three layer carrot cake, chocolate fudge cake, and my favorite the passion fruit panacotta. Then for dinner we had another wonderful server whose name I cannot remember but he was great. We had another great starting off with fresh baked bread and home whipped butter. We got some great cocktails, strong and tasty. The fish was extremely fresh for the ahi tuna and the scallops. The duck as a little dry although still very good. The price was rather high although this was worth the price considering how high many of the prices are in Sedona for food in general. Again our desserts were wonderful and would highly recommend!

“Exceptional service, exquisite food”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We had dinner at Rene at Tlaquepaque to celebrate our anniversary. This was the best meal we had on our trip and the service was exceptional. There is nothing that could have been done to make it any better. The meal was wonderful from the salmon to the dessert to the bread to the appetizers. The prickly pear ice tea was really good as well. We sat outside on the patio which was comfortable and pleasant. Made a special occasions memorable. We will definately go back there again.

Nothing to dislike. It was great. Food was great and we appreciated to be able to have our dog with us on the patio.

“Back of restaurant blues”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

Rene's is a very nice restaurant with above-average food, but our table near the kitchen door for our large family of 6 adults was not as much fun as perhaps the outdoor terrace might have been. We were the only ones back there on a Saturday night--. General consensus--great Ahi, well-priced wine menu--some average plate presentation--and a bit of dated decor. We still enjoyed it, and would not rule it out for fine dining.
