Excellent restaurant. Food and service was great. Manager Anthony gave great wine recommendations. He also made us reservations at other restaurants owned by the same group. We wish they had a Pisa Lisa in NY. We will be back for sure.

After spending 140.00 before tip on my birthday party at Piza Lisa we were a tad dissappointed. I love Lisa's other restaurants and bought the cook book, so i feel inclined to give constructive criticism to a great chef and business woman that I respect. The service was so slow to come to the table when our party of eight arrived and take drink orders. We ordered two pizzas among other items of which only one showed up. The waiter said the other pizza had fallen apart and our guests waited another half hour for theirs. The flavor was average but the dough was so soggy and could not be eaten without a fork. The manager (I think it was somebody up behind the bar) never came to the table and the waiter was too busy to keep up. He offered complimentary birthday dessert and brought out a single serving with EIGHT spoons. Most of all the staff was cool and unsociable...not warm and friendly like the other restaurants. I'll go back and give it another chance unlike our other guests that evening.

We stopped for dinner and liked it so much we are here again. Several antipasti choices and all were good. The pizza is very reminiscent of Naples Nice thin crust and creative toppings.

We've been here about 6 times and have ordered the same salad and pizza a couple of times.
Sometimes it's really delicious and other times the salad has the wrong dressing eg. mustard vinaigrette or the pizza not hot. One time they told us the pizza person was in training. In other words no consistency or quality control when it comes out of the kitchen. G. Ramsey would not have been happy.

We got off to a bit of a rocky start with this restaurant. We walked in one night around 8:30. They were putting the chairs up on tables but the door was open. We walked in and asked if they were open and the young man behind the counter said, "Uh.....no." As we were leaving we saw people driving into the parking lot, apparently to pick up takeout orders. We thought they could have at least have offered us a pizza to go. The place smelled heavenly, though, and I was determined to come back and try the pizza, which we did a few nights later. We had a pizza with eggplant and mushrooms and a salad with slivers of salami and parmesan. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was quick and polite; prices maybe a tad high but well worth it in my opinion.
