My wife in I stayed in cabin #1, Julia, which happen to be her mothers first name. We were greeted like family and every interaction with Nichole & Frank or their staff was nothing but great. Every morning during our three day visit there was a picnic basket hanging outside the front door by 700 AM filled with great homemade items for our breakfast. Each day Nichole had written a greeting on the chalkboard on the basket as well. The short drive to Sedona from the Oak Creek Canyon location had great spots to stop and take photographs. A short walk across the road and you were at a great stream to relax as well.

We can not wait until next year to visit again the Butterfly Garden Inn.

My girlfriend and I just returned from a romantic stay in Cabin #9 at Butterfly Garden to celebrate her birthday. The experience exceeded our expectations. The small one room log cabin was quaint and had a small gas fireplace in the corner. The bedding was extra cushioned and much nicer than that of many high end hotels I've stayed at in the past. The owner's pretty much run every facet of the business from check-in to gracious concierge to the cute, well-stocked general store (they even have wine and cheese). To our surprise they make gourmet coffees to order in the store everyday which was something we hadn't counted on but appreciated (walk across the street to drink your morning coffee on the banks of Oak Creek). It was all in the details for us including the fresh made pastry's (sour cream coffee cake and apple turnovers were delicious!), fruit and juices left in cute little baskets outside our door at 7:00 am every morning. We had a wonderful weekend and more importantly, one that will be remembered:) by Ty and Andrea

Room Tip: Ask for the little one room log cabins if you want a rustic atmosphere; you won't be disappointe...

This is a wonderful place to have Two Vacations in One. Located 9 mi. outside Sedona (up Oak Creek Canyon toward Flagstaff) it's quite close to all the attractions of Sedona & environs, but when you're done there for the day, a quick and quite scenic drive later you're out in the woods among the trees where you can grill dinner outside & eat sitting at the picnic table, enjoy the sound of the breeze through the trees while you relax on the oh-so-comfortable Adirondack chairs and enjoy a good book, watch the blue jays, or whatever! So relaxing!!! & a totally different vacation from your time spent "in town". There's a wonderful looking swimming hole( or two!) in Oak Creek located just across the road (& across a small island of land) and a beautiful set of waterfalls there. (Too bad the water was too cold, and the weather not hot enough, to swim in mid-October: but on the other hand, the leaves were just starting to turn beautiful yellow & red!). My cabin #11 was nicely decorated, the king bed very comfortable; the bathroom is very small but very clean & adequate for one's needs. The breakfast, included in the price, is hung in a little basket outside your door each morning and is it DELICIOUS !..... and big, and different every morning. On weekend nights they had a community gathering (of guests) around the campfire at 6pm, but I was always still in town with other plans at that time. There is no TV, phone, (or phone reception),or WiFi in your cabin, , but a very nice large living room area available 24/7 in the lobby building where you can use the computer. There is also a nice little market there where they can 'store' items for you in the refrigerator. I hiked the very popular West Fork Trail (esp. popular at this leaves-turning time of year) which is just 1 mi. up the road. The young owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would return often but the price is a bit much, even though it was their 'Grand Opening" prices (they just opened in July '12, I think, though their cabins have been there a long time, now freshly refurbished.) I hope they don't raise the prices out of my reach!!!

What a great little gem tucked away along Oak Creek just outside of Sedona. Had a wonderful family weekend in these quaint cabins playing games, hiking and just relaxing without the bother of TVs, cellphones or Internet. We plan to making this an annual family meeting place for a spot to reconnect with each other and disconnect from the rest of the world for a few days.

Frank and Nicole are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. We loved waking up each morning to a picnic basket of home-baked goodies, juices and cereals for breakfast every morning.

This was a fantastic experience for me and my family. We rented 2 cabins (6 & 8) for a 3 day stay. The cabins were cute and the landscaping was unbelievable. Frank and Nicole were great. They made the stay very personal and we felt like we were at home. We will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: cabin 6 has a full kitchen which was nice. Cabin 8 had two bedrooms but not a full kitchen. If you w...

We ended up here by accident after driving from Phoenix and expecting to find a place to stay in Sedona (which was booked up). We arrived not knowing what to expect. It is a beautiful little place. Very rustic (in a good way). The rooms are clean, comfortable and quaint. There are no TVs in the room and very little cell service (although there is wireless) which I consider a huge plus when you are staying in such a gorgeous area. They owners are very sweet and made us wonderful coffees before our hike. I would definitely come back and would think that one of the cabins would make a great location for a romantic weekend.

My husband and I just returned from a week at the Butterfly Garden Inn. We had such a wonderful time. The cabin we stayed in was so lovely. It was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast that is delivered in a beautiful basket daily was absolutely wonderful. The Garrisons, who are the owners and operators of the property could not have been more accommodating . They made us feel at home the second we arrived. Their is a General Store on the property that has anything you could ever need or want. We highly recommend staying at the Butterfly Garden Inn. It's the perfect place for families as well as just a quiet romantic get away. We will be going back a lot!!
