Arriving in Sedona with 5 hungry women from Chicago looking for a place to eat we headed for The Heartline Cafe for a late lunch.there was something for everyone and we all had a tough time deciding on what to order - there were so many delicious looking items to choose from. One person had breakfast and the rest of us sandwiches. I wish we could have tried dessert but we all ate most of our food and were stuffed! Definitely will go back but next time try dinner and breakfast.

I recently ate at the Heartline Cafe as a first time visitor to Sedona, AZ. Nice restaurant. Sat outside. Service was fair, food was very good but pricey. While I enjoyed my meal it is doubtful I would return.

I've seen incredible reviews for Heartline, We stopped in about 6PM on a Monday, the parking lot was empty, the restaurant had two tables occupied. We didn't make reservations. The hostess seated us with hesitations, telling us they were preparing for a full house. Within 20 minutes the crowd arrived. I had a swordfish "special". It was bland, with a hint of "old" fish taste. My partner had Duck, which he said was OK, but not a very flavorful dish. The service was fair, perhaps a little rushed. The meals are on the pricy side, but quality did not justify.

I think Heartline has probably gone downhill in the last few years. Our advice is choose somewhere else! Our rice was overdone and mushy, the Salmon tasted old and smelly. The "house" salad consisted of some greens with a few cranberries thrown on and a few slivered almonds. What a disappointment!!! We expected fresh, natural ingredients. Our server seemed to care less and only brought the food and checked in at the very end, when we told her the problems. Again, she seemed unconcerned.

It is always a concern to us when a negative review of our restaurant is posted. With regard to your review I have checked with our dining room mgr. as well as the servers to determine if any complaints were received. There has been no complaints received by staff in some time. Had you complained the dining room mgr would have immediately come to you and resolved the issue. Your entire dinner would have been "comped",
Fish and produce deliveries are made every day to the restaurant. To indicate the salmon was "old and smelly" is frankly unbelievable, That entre is popular and no other complaints have been received about that dish.
I can be reached anytime at michael@heartlinecafe.com if you wish to further discuss this matter.

We loved everything we ordered, but could not finish. We ordered from the appetizer menu. Everything was delicious. Nice ambiance on the patio enhanced the experience.
