“Stay at Enchantment Resort - better value for money”
Reviewed January 8, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

The owner was very pleasant and gracious in offering me a credit from an earlier booking that was cancelled due to the fires in Sedona.

However, there are many things that future renters should be aware of with Vista Ridge. My recommendation is to stay at the Enchantment Resort for the same price and the experience and value you get is much higher.

The walls were paper thin. There was a child running above us constantly, and we could hear full conversations through the bathroom walls.

There is no privacy. The living room has beautiful views and is where we hung out most of the time (obviously), however, there is a public walkway in front of it. Guests were always walking in front of our unit/window where the living room was and it was very disturbing.

The internet barely worked. We both own businesses and while on vacation need to work some of the time. Unfortunately, the owner said that he was aware of this and had not switched providers yet. Guests should be made aware of this fact ahead of time.

There were several other small issues related to the house being stocked at a very very bare minimum, but the above issues are what I would want to know as a future renter.

Overall we had a lovely time in Sedona. The views are gorgeous from the Vista Ridge and it is in close proximity to local restaurants, boutiques, etc. You will need a car.

“Not as nice as the photos but still pretty good”
Reviewed January 2, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We rented Unit 1 for 4 nights in December. The unit was not as nice as the photos would have you think. The kitchen has been renovated and the kitchen/living room have a wonderful view. The bathroom has been updated but it's still very dark, small and cramped. The bedroom was very basic with a small window with zero view. The condo has full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The washer/dryer are very loud but get the job done. Travellers should note that unit 1 is on the lower level and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the unit above. One night during our stay we could still hear the people above us talking and moving around at 2AM.

The unit is well situated within the town and everything is very easy to get to. We were provided with day passes for the Hilton Spa which was a nice treat. Also, you will have a parking pass to use which is helpful if you plan to go out hiking.

The unit does have wi fi but it was very spotty.

“Amazing condo with fabulous views!”
Reviewed November 30, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We absolutely loved our stay in unit 7! The condo was gorgeous, immaculate, and the views to die for. The balconies were a great spot to watch the sunrises and sunsets, and the condo was close to tons of hiking, shopping, and photo ops. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed and it was great to have a washer and dryer as well. If we ever make it back to Sedona we would definitely stay here again.

“Really does have amazing views”
Reviewed November 9, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This was a really great condo to rent. It has two bathrooms, two bedrooms. Wonderful kitchen and living room. The patio is amazing, leading onto a courtyard with a bocce ball court, a gas fire pit, mini waterfall, and stream and the most amazing views ever. We woke up every morning to watch the sun coming up over the rocks in the distance. It is close by every thing you want in Sedona, yet is very private up on the hill. Right below the condo is the Hillside shopping/restaurant strip. You could walk to it easily if you wanted. Directly behind the condo is the start of a couple of walking trails. Great place. Only drawback is that you can hear people walking above you. Get the 2nd floor units if you can.

“Fantastic Stay”
Reviewed October 9, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed here for 3 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer! The view from the apartments is simply amazing. The apartments are very clean and very well equipped. You can easily walk down to the hillside shopping mall for restaurants. It is possible to walk into Sedona, but it is quite a long walk. David was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Wifi is a bit patchy, but ok. We would not hesitate to recommend these apartments.

“Simply fabulous... great views, great location, great property... loved it :-)”
Reviewed September 24, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We absolutely loved staying at Vista Ridge and would not hesitate to recommend.

The property is very conveniently located for Sedona and the views from the property are fabulous/second to none. In addition, you cannot get a better view for the price anywhere in the area!

Everything was clean and well looked after and we actually wish we had booked in for longer :-)

“Breathtaking View of Surrounding Red Rocks from Windows and Terrace”
Reviewed September 24, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We found this lovely place and stayed here for two nights while driving on a red rock tour of Arizona and Utah. The place is luxuriously furnished. The floor length windows all across the living room and the windows in the kitchen offer tremendous view of the surrounding red rocks. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside as well, sitting on the patio and the garden on the ground floor in the evening and at night. Watching the sun setting here is just a wonderful experience. Lots of beautiful pictures were taken.

We highly recommend this place for friends.

The owner's instructions sent by email were excellent and detailed. Parking was plentiful and the two parking spaces in the front are great for moving luggage in and out of the car.
