“Dinner then show with dancing”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

We went to this place for dinner on March 14th to celebrate a anniversary. The food was amazing. There were 3 of us and 2 of us ordered the lamb OssoBucco. It was large enough to take 1/2 of it home. The male in the couple tried the Chicken pot Pie which many locals in town have been raving about. The pie is huge and filled with chucks of lean chicken & vegs but the best is the crust which is only on the top (if you are counting carbs). My friend said he could eat this everyday it was sooo good. The Cuban show and dancing was a lot of fun and the staff had a table reserved for us when we were done eating. Everything was great except we had a table right by the door that goes outside for dining and everytime the staff went in and out we got a huge cold draft. All in all we will be going back again and again.

“Great Experience and Atmosphere”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Went for the Esteban show and buffet. The food was wonderful, beautiful salads, roasted potatoes, fish and a carving station all with sweeping views of the sunset on the red rocks in the background. Esteban and his extremely talented daughter, Joy and an amazing percussionist took the stage and took us through a gorgeous journey of music through the ages, including the oldest known piece of music to be recorded from I believe 5,000 years ago. What an amazing night!!! I hope to do it again soon.

“Dinner and Music”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

We went on a Sunday night because they advertised a female jazz vocalist and trio from 6-9.
When we arrived at 7 ish, the vocalist was doing a set and her voice and music selection was quite enjoyable- but she took a break shortly after. She said the break would be 15 minutes- it was longer than that! When she came back, she didn't lengthen her set to compensate. OK. Went on break again, again supposedly for 15 minutes. This time it was 35 minutes til she came back- again she apologized, apparently had been catching up with old friends-but by that time we had finished our dinner, and our coffee and were tired of waiting so left.
The food was average- vegetarian stew for me, steak for my husband- had the music been as good as it started out, I would have given a better rating to the restaurant over-all. Good music can, after all, make average food taste better!

“Great food, great music”
Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

Great atmosphere, outstanding shows (Esteban and then a Cuban Band were playing when I was there), and the best Chicken Pot Pie I've ever had (almost had the steak which I heard was great, but good pot pie isn't something you see very often). I can't imagine going anyhwere else in Sedona for nightlife either, this place is the only thing going on in town. Defitinely will return soon!

“Lunch, a vista, and a rock-n-roll atmosphere”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

Awesome food at this place. Prices were moderate, view for outside dining was impeccable, service for lunch was quick. Cool music/rock-n-roll atmosphere, casual scene, with young and old patrons alike. Sound Bites is worth swinging by while you are enjoying yourself in Sedona, AZ.
