After eating at Elote the night before, we were in the mood for something a little more low key. We'd read some of the reviews and decided to give Sound Bites a shot since it had music. This was the Sunday night of President's Day weekend, and we arrived at about 5:30. The bar was dotted with a few people. We were given the option to sit on the music or non-music side, and we chose the music side, as a 3 piece jazz band was about to begin playing. We were seated almost right in front of the stage, yet on the back wall which was perfect. Anne Marie was our server and she was very attentive, friendly and easy on the eyes :). When the hostess said the name of our server, I heard Desiree and so I mistakenly called Anne Marie "Desiree" half the night. She was a good sport about it. They pour a good drink, and the wines selections were very good. We opted for a local wine that they were featuring on special that night for $5, and it was very nice. The jazz band began to play. They sounded great! Not too loud and just the right mood for the evening. My wife noticed the table adjacent to us had order Maine lobster tail and her eyes lit up. In Sedona, I thought? But the table next to us highly recommended it and so she ordered it. Outstanding! She ate every bite, including the mashed potatoes. The green beans she ordered on the side were average and needed a little more pizazz. I had the beef skewers, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We stayed for a while after dinner, enjoyed some more wine and the music. There were some odd girls dancing to the jazz, which was actually quite entertaining. Once again, Anne Marie was fantastic. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back!
