“Best place in Arizona to Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

RV park is by far the best we've been in on this trip so far in Arizona. Campgrounds are clean, well taken care of and pet friendly. Nothing negative can be said about this place. Wonderful A++++

Now with that said, lets talk about the town and area. Sedona, Arizona is a tourist TRAP! Over commericalized, and pushy condo salespeople desguised as tour salespeople. If you came to see the sights, forget about it. You have to take a tour to enjoy andything.

We traveled with 2 little ones 4 and 5. We arrived there late at night and were shown to our site by a really nice lady, taking the stress away from us novice campers. The Rv park is in a a great location about 1 mile from Sedona restaurants and about 2 from banks, shops etc. We were in site 38, perfect for the kids with it's enclosed green area. We only stayed for 2 nights but saw loads of wild life, squirrels and gecco's, the kids loved it. The park is right on oak creek which is beautiful. There is not much of a walk along the river but just to sit and relax beside the creek was fantastic. The facilities were well maintained and very clean. I would recommend staying here to anyone, there is no shop onsite so be sure to stock up with groceries before you arrive. Enjoy your stay

Quiet. Cozy, yet right in town. Rancho Sedona RV Park is superb. We called just before sunsetand arrived after the office was closed. We were told to choose a space and relax and pay in the morning. We took site 76. Marvelous! We had a wondrously pastoral evening, camped by the babbling creek. Tons of privacy, lots of quiet. One caveat: We left before the office opened and had to stuff money into the suggestion box. They need an after hour payment system. that said, we'll be back soon.

This is mot your run of the mill RV park. Lots of trees and many of the spaces have grass. The staff was very friendly, the showers and rest rooms were kept immaculately clean. They have a volley ball court, 2 horse shoe pits, tether ball and a doggy run. The spaces are close together but every effort has been made to make you feel apart from your neighbors. The creek running through the park is cool and refreshing. We will most definitively be back.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was! 7 nights with a creek spot, it was heaven. We were in a 30 ft 5 th wheel, lots of room, we couldn't ask for anything better. Close enough to walk down to a few shops if you like

Beautiful park. Stayed in 77. Huge spot can hear the creek. My dog loves the water so the creek was perfect for swimming. Nice dog run too. Very clean and quiet

Very nice, shade, Oak Creek is right in the RV park and is deep enough to wade. There is a little rope swing that allows you to swing into the creek. There are not charcoal grills at each spot so you will need your own or use a community grill located near the office. You can walk to town if you want, about 3/4 of a mile. It is nice to have a car though, Sedona is not the easiest place to navigate and park in an RV. We used Enterprise rental car, they came to the RV park and picked me up.
