“Beautiful, quiet, loved it!!!”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Beautiful setting, clean quiet will definitely go back!!! We stayed there for two nights beds were comfortable and best of all the bedding did not have that awful softener smell
It was nice having a full fridge and yes they had ice trays so we were able to make ice.
This place is not located on the main strip which it was nice for us.

This place was nice and quiet, no traffic, no phones, nothing to do but whatever you wanted to do. Hike, bike, swim. We chose a cabin, and it exceed our expectations. It wasn't exactly cheap, but not too bad for a family or two couples. It probably could hold six comfortably, but we were pretty snug with the 4 of us.

They have a super nice front office person (Michael) and they even supplied graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows for roasting.

FUN!

Room Tip: A - Apache (Cabin) was the furthest from anyone, but they are all pretty close to each other. Never...

Really loved this place. The grounds are really well kept - it was amazing to see Hummingbirds at the feeders, with Bell Rock in the background. The chalets are fairly basic, but clean and there was plenty of space for our family of 5 - the children slept in the loft (best views!) and we had a double bedroom. The kitchen was small, but enabled us to cook meals for ourselves which was great. Our chalet was right by the pool, which is quite small, but each time we wanted to use it, we had it to ourselves, as the resort is small and the pool was a good temperature, with amazing views of the red rocks. Really glad we stumbled upon this place on Trip Advisor and chose to stay here rather than in the centre of Sedona, as it was so peaceful and well-placed for the red rock formations (you could even walk to the Bell Rock trail head if you wanted).

Found this place through Living Social. We drove up from Phoenix late on a Friday. It had been a long day at work and there was traffic on I-17 on the way up. When we arrived I was tired and groggy and just wanted to fall into bed. The first thing that struck me about this place was the welcome I received when I walked into the office. Michael was behind the counter and he was extremely welcoming - it felt as if I was a long-lost friend and he had been waiting hours for me to arrive. He walked us over to our chalet (Montezuma's Castle) and gave us a tour of the place. We were truly appreciative of the warm, personal service he gave us. Do you do that for everyone?

We would highly recommend this place to our friends for the welcoming atmosphere, as well as all the other benefits that other posters described.

Room Tip: Ask for pet-friendly rooms.

We stayed 2 days in the Lake Powell Chalet, which looked right out on Bell Rock. The trail started just outside of our door! Our family of five fit very comfortably in the chalet. We were able to walk to a local breakfast eatery, among other places. The kids really loved the complimentary S'mores by the fire at night. I really loved that the first load of laundry was free, so we were able to wash right in the middle of our 9 day trip around the Four Corners states. The staff was extremely helpful with everything.

We stayed in one of the A Frame chalets. (Fool's Hollow) Quaint but tight space and only one bathroom with a shower. NO daily housekeeping. Excellent accomodating friendly staff. Well manicured property. The property is next to most of the more famous rock formations. Each chalet and room has it's own outdoor grill. No restaurant on site, but nearby grocery stores and dining options. No telephones in chalets. Saw a snake crawling near our doorway the day before we left!!! YIKES! Would stay again.

Room Tip: Any chalet is great, but Fool's Hollow is closer to walkway from parking area which is behind th...

We loved our week-long stay at the Red Agave! We stayed in the chalet called Montezuma's Castle. The chalets are two-story units, that provide lots of privacy, a small but full kitchen, a little dining room table for four, and a tv watching area downstairs. Upstairs there were three twin beds. The location could not be better. Having our morning coffee everyday out on the little patio area, looking at the Red Rocks (which are SO close!) was wonderful. We took several fantastic hikes, starting out just steps from our chalet. What a beautiful place. We also enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend it highly!

Room Tip: Our chalet was comfortable in regards to the beds (one queen- very nice and three twins upstairs whi...
