Adobe Hacienda Bed & Breakfast

We've stayed at several bed-and-breakfasts in Sedona, and this is our favorite (two stays so far). The rooms are tastefully decorated and really comfy (beds are fantastic). And the breakfast! It was absolutely gourmet. Sitting out on the patio looking at the beautiful scenery while sipping coffee and having our breakfast was the perfect way to start the day.

The other thing I love about the Adobe Hacienda is that there are several places to sit outside...chairs, benches, rockers. Just sitting there listening to the fountain and looking at the incomparable scenery was one of the highlights of our stay.

You really get your money's worth at the Adobe Hacienda. The hosts, Brad and Pauline, are attentive without being fussy and intrusive. My husband and I give it our highest ratings!!!

We were truly fortunate to have found Adobe Hacienda out of all the B & B's in Sedona ~ we would not hesitate to stay there again. Our stay here was one of our best experiences. We truly enjoyed the location in Oak Creek Village, which is away from the busy tourist areas ~ just a beautiful short drive to get to those places when you want to. The Inn was lovely and peaceful and beautifully furnished. Since we were looking for a lovely place to stay with easy access to hiking trails and other outdoor puruits, it was perfectly located for our trip. We loved the privacy and quiet setting . . . and the breakfasts were absolutely outstanding. Pauline is the perfect hostess, charming and absolutely delightful. Don't hesitate to ask her for area information and suggestions. (One of the best Sedona restaurants is just down the road ~ we went there twice while we were there!) We stay in B & B's frequently, and my husband and I agree that this was one of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever encountered. We left completely rested and content. We highly recommend it.

In January of this year we took a little break from our hectic lives in Tucson and went to Sedona. We stayed at a 5 room, very private B & B. The great thing was it backed right up to the golf course! We stayed in the Sedona room with a comfy king size bed, fireplace and viewed Sedona's unforgettable red rock vistas! The Huevos Rancheros gave us the needed energy to play a good game of golf and hike the surrounding canyons. The innkeepers, Pauline and Brad were very cordial. We'll see them next sping, can't wait to go back!

When we are at the end of the road and look back on our best vacation experiences ever, a handful of places will stand out in our memories. Adobe Hacienda will be one of those for me.

The feel of the place is small and serene, with just 5 rooms and a spacious great room that's nice for a gathering place. The setting is gorgeous, with plenty of lovely red rock views (including a nice one of Bell Rock from the back patio, where breakfast is served). The rooms are spacious and quite nicely appointed in an authentic southwestern theme. The meals -- oh my, the meals. Basilia and Kumari serve a delightful gourmet breakfast that will be both delicious and probably something you've never experienced before. The Proprietors, Pauline and Brad, achieve a nice balance between being attentive and unobtrusive; we had several very nice conversations (and with Basilia and Kumari too), but only when it was apparent that we were interested in being social at that time.

Adobe Hacienda was a delightful place from which to launch our excursions to the many beautiful destinations in and around Sedona. Check out the web site -- adobe-hacienda.com -- and you'll get a good feel for what it's like there. Happy Travels to you. Chris Fitzpatrick, Clarksville, Indiana

My family (2 seniors, 3 grown children) chose the Adobe Hacienda Bed & Breakfast as lodging to spend time just hanging out together and taking in the sights and adventures of Sedona. We had a wonderful experience, due in part to the Adobe Hacienda.

The rooms are lovely, everything is spotlessly clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated in southwestern style. It is small, only 5 rooms, so it is very peaceful and the privacy almost makes one feel as though it is your very own home in Sedona. Each morning brings a wonderful (both in taste and presentation) breakfast by their great cook on a the lovely patio, with the large fountain lending a very restful atmosphere and beautiful views of the red rocks. There is a common room, also tastefully decorated, with books, videos, newspapers, and guide books available.

The landscapiing is interesting and beautifully kept (no small task, since it is extensive). The owners and staff give outstanding personal attention, and you will almost feel like old friends by the time you leave. In short, it is easy to give it an enthusiastic 5-star recommendation.

We just returned from our vacation in Sedona, Arizona. I would like to share the most delightful find with all of you. We booked thru the internet a Bed and Breakfast in the Village of Oak Creek , just adjacent to Sedona. The place is called the Adobe Hacienda Bed and Breakfast. The proprietors Brad and Pauline Staub are simply the salt of the earth people. I felt as though I was home away from home with the two of them. They both have the uncanny ability of giving warmth, charm, and the sense of knowing that this is your vacation time, and they give you the freedom of solitude with respect. They were both extremely helpful in supplying us information of local interests, including the local excursions , and what restaurants in the area would meet our needs at any given moment. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, both the Sedona room, and the Baja Room. Each room offered comfort, coziness and a southwest flavor of décor. Both rooms exceeded our expectations in comfort, cleanliness, and size. The view that is available from our rooms was picture perfect. It was red rock country at it finest. Castle Rock on the left, Bell Rock in the middle, and Court House rock on the right. Bring your camera as this is a beautiful sight all day long, but the multitudes of colors are amplified during the early morning hours, and at sunset. Every thing that you want to experience about the Sedona area is close, from sight seeing, dining, shopping, and solitude. Adobe Hacienda Bed and Breakfast is a place we will definitely return to. It simply has the right touch of everything the two of us needed for a great vacation experience. If you are looking for a place with serenity , beauty and comfort, this will meet your expectations.Mike and Sheila Rhodes
