“Hyatt - convenient, beautiful”
Reviewed October 15, 2009

Stayed with spouse for 4 nights in late Sept, early October 09; beautiful property; no pressure, or even contact about time share.

Stayed in studio, main reason for posting is saw no pix of studios on Trip Advisor.

Had a great top floor room, very nice, but very small and tight.

Hyatt is in heart of everything, since it is located just uphill from the "Y" (although now it's more like a circle!).

Made good use of the kitchen, although quite tiny - in studio units, kitchen is a small countertop with a few cabinets, a toaster and microwave, and a sink. Decent selection of kitchen furnishings included silverware, corkscrew, dishtowels and more! There was a small refrigerator - the kind you see in home bars - although quite small, it held drinks, food, etc - plenty big enough for us!

Enjoyed walking around the property - great views everywhere. The property is very interesting, being built into the hillside. We stayed in the newer section, which we were told was completed in March '09. WARNING - this property is far from handicap friendly, almost nothing is on a level surface. That being said, for those of us who are not mobility challenged, walking to everything on property is not only possible, but a joy! Views and terrain are most enjoyable.

We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit !

The property is very quiet at night - bring candles and matches to light and enjoy on your balcony or patio.

Arrived for a couple of days to experience Sedona with my sister and brother in law. We all were extremely pleased with the accomodations. The Pinion Pointe Hyatt was a clean and well kept resort. The firepit was great for relaxing with a drink after a day of exploring the canyons. Attached to the hotel are a lot of shops and galleries including a Starbucks and a Cold Stone Creamery which made the experience that much better. The views were incredible and before we left we were already planning a longer stay for next year.

This must be one of the best properties in Sedona. The grounds are beautiful. The location is perfect. The accommodations truly are high end condos with big screen TVs, jet baths, granite countertops and a fireplace. It does not feel like a hotel, but rather like a stay at a friend's condo (a fairly affluent friend to be exact).

This is a great place and the daily rates are closer to what you would find at a standard hotel. No resort fees, free parking and free wireless mean that you are not nickel and dimed.

This is the place to stay in Sedona.

We stayed at this resort for a couple of days and were disappointed to find that although it was quite expensive the room was one of darkest and most claustrophobic we have experienced. We stayed in a studio room in the new wing and found that the only light was from a small patio which was permanent in shade and with no view given it position in a gully. The resort is positioned in the middle of Sedona which is unusual and convenient but felt like far too many units had been packed in a small area.

The room was well decorated and had a very good bed but it was very cramped. The service was good and the resort was clean and felt new.

Everything about our stay was incredible! The staff went out of their way to be helpful without being pushy. The location is by far the best in Sedona. The units are on a hill above town with breathtaking views so that you feel you are miles from the hustle and bustle. In reality, you are just a few steps from all of the fun shops and restaurants in Sedona. The units themselves have granite counters, in-room spa, plush mattresses, and Southwestern decor. The pool area was definitely an oasis with unbelievable views, comfy lounge chairs, and a firepit to enjoy at night. We were so busy sightseeing that we wished we had more time just to hang out at the condo!

We were going to stay 2 nights - ended up staying 3. Loved the pool, fire pit, rec room. The location was great and easy to find. Very relaxing and beautiful. Close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. No restaurant on actual hotel site, but even better was a small place called "Bread" something that was adjacent to hotel and very reasonably priced with very good food for breakfast & lunch. Room had small patio with table and could even see red rocks from there. Our room was small but comfortable and had a small fridge which was nice. Lots of stairs on the property, so if you're not in shape, that could be a problem. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Traveled to Sedona with some friends who recommended the Hyatt. Our room was huge and we could have stayed there for weeks with our full kitchen and all amenities included.

Great place to bring a family and explore Northern Arizona
