Drive up Airport Road (off 89A) and you'll come to a small parking area on the left. Park, get a Forest Service permit from the ticket machine and you're ready to enjoy the most accessible of the Sedona Vortexes. Follow the trail or scramble up the side of the small rocky hill and you'll be able to enjoy a great view and possibly feel some vortex vibes.
If the hill is too steep for you, go the very short distance to the saddle. Some people claim the vortex is here. I think the view is almost as good as from the top of the hill.
If you're a bit of a hiker, Airport Loop Trail is well worth doing. It gives you an overview of the different parts of Sedona and allows you to experience small airplanes taking off or landing just a few feet away from you. Total length of the loop is 3.3 miles with only a few hundred feet of climbing. Take water and have good sturdy shoes. Sedona trails are rocky.
