We did the portion of the hike from the Schnebley Road Trailhead until the trail started heading down to Oak Creek. There is some up and downing on that portion of the trail but nothing too bad. There was one section of very narrow trail with a dropoff that could be a little un-nerving. The views were great. You're looking mostly north over the city of Sedona to the red rocks north and west of town. We saw a number of cactus in bloom when we were there. Hiking mid-morning on a weekday we met a few people on the trail but had it to ourselves much of the time.
