We went to the Redstone because it was close to our hotel and we were all tired. The service was extremely slow and when the food came out, it was cold. Not just lukewarm, but cold. One person ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it had so much gravy on it and the bacon was under cooked, he couldn't eat it.
The only redeeming factor was that the bartender was extremely apologetic and we didn't have to pay for our meal. He said the same thing another reviewer stated - they're under new management. I would not recommend.
Plus, we thought the view was supposed to be of the red rocks and it wasn't.
We couldn't eat on the patio because a wedding was going on and they were having cocktails on the patio.
Very disappointing.

This used to be a good place to eat cheap with a nice view, then it got taken over by another owner and has been downhill since. Expensive and not good, nothing to recommend, they should be bring back the old staff!

The Redstone Grill has recently gone through a change of management, but you might not notice. Locals (mostly golfers playing at the adjacent Oak Creek Country Club) have been hoping for months that the restaurant could be turned around by the new management team, but that still hasn't happened. The menu is almost identical to the unsuccessful effort from the previous team. The nightly specials (such as all you can eat tacos on Tuesdays) are very disappointing. The meat (I hope it was hamburger) was swimming in grease, and the toppings were limited. Some nights the bar is hopping with locals, some of whom seem to begin their evening with happy hour, but most often the dining room is empty. The golfers seem OK with the patio dining for lunch, but they are gone by dinner time. We are disappointed with Redstone Grill, since the location in the Village of Oak Creek could have offered an alternative for those of us who live nearby.

Ever since they remodeled the restaurant has been misanaged. The service is spotty at best. They decided to close the upper restaurant section which is the more formal area because they were losing money on it. The remaining open section is where all the golfers come in after their rounds of golf and it can get very busy very quickly and they never have the staff to accomodate the mad rush. So if you're there just for a meal good luck because the kitchen gets jammed and the wait staff is running around (and now it's usually just two people) doing the best they can. But it's not good enough for me or most people I know that frequent the place.

On Hands Management – Customer Service through total dedication to the business its employees and guests is exactly what I experienced through one very talented Manager, Jennifer, during breakfast hours Sunday December 23rd. This act of professionalism needs to be highly commended by upper management. The owners need to praise this Manager for taking control in one of the most difficult situations I believe a Restaurant Manager should have to go through.
Covering for the normal Manager during his brief absence over the Holidays she found herself without the service needed nevertheless took the situation and made every right decision through complete wisdom and knowledge of what the guests needs and wants were and what could happen based off the direction this particular morning was headed. She filled in for employees, covered for those who did not show, Etc... Etc... Etc... I live locally and I will be back to enjoy a location who truly cares for and considers the needs and wants of each consumer who graces the Grill, Bar, Patio and Golf Course. KUDOS to you Jennifer!! You are a valuable asset and I do hope Oak Creek Country Club, the Members and Guests offer you the respect you truly deserve...
