“Great Upper Sedona Location”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

What a delightful little place! My daughter and I spent one night here before moving north into the Oak creek canyon. Great location with walking of all the eateries and shops in upper Sedona.
Not fancy, but charming and very efficient. The outside patio has a lovely view. The email communication was great, no need for a check in person as they sent all the info we needed. No elevator so be prepared to lug your stuff upstairs!

This is a unique place: two lovely rooms designed by top Sedona architects who work downstairs. One room is a queen; one a king. The views are fantastic and there are no doors slammed by multiple guests: it's a two room hotel! You can easily walk to several restaurants in uptown Sedona (recommended - Thai Palace and the Wildflower Cafe). Parking, wi-fi are free. It's romantic and cozy, but not for those who want a concierge or room service. Even cheaper by the week. A great find!

My wife and I stayed here a few weeks ago. We stayed in the King. The place is really charming. It is essentially a studio apartment. It is a large room with a kitchenette (microwave, sink, fridge, coffee maker) and a small breakfast table, bathroom with a large tub, bed, and a bay window with an additional seating area. There is a free standing closet and a dresser. It is clean and pretty cozy. As far as location, it is a very short, two bloc walk down to Uptown Sedona, the strip with restaurants, galleries, tour agencies, etc. It is a very short, five minute drive to 179, which has many galleries, and a 5-10 minute drive to the commercial part of Sedona where you will find more restaurants, supermarkets, etc. As for access to trails (i.e. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Courthouse, etc.), they a short drive away. In fact, there is a really great trail right up Jordan Road, a few minutes in the car, that my wife and I discovered by accident by just driving in the direction. It is called the Brins Mesa trail and it takes you up to the top of Brins Mesa. The views from up there are quite amazing. Price wise, I think it is pretty reasonable for Sedona.

This room cannot be beat! The location is simply amazing! We were able to walk everywhere and the room is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space and the kitchenette is so handy to have! We even went out to dinner with the tenants in the other room after meeting out on the patio and sharing some wine. The area is quiet and even slept with the windows open. You will not find anything in Sedona this nice at this price.

1 block off 89A, the main drag. This mini hotel has just 2 rooms, both are just so beautiful. The decor is outstanding. Comfortable beds with a mini kitchen. The best part is the huge outdoor private patio with killer views of the red rocks. Park your car and walk 2 mins. To all the uptown shops, restaurants and saloons. Uptown is where you want to be.

Great location, at the end of Oak Creek Canyon, in the heart of the uptown area, just a block off the main drag. It is more of a vacation rental than hotel or B&B; there is no maid service, coffee service, etc, The king room was well appointed and spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette area. Great roof top deck with wonderful red rock views. The bed was comfortable, the towels fluffy, the room very clean. A real bargain find in Sedona. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: As it says, it is upstairs. Be prepared to carry your bags up an average flight. Also, if you arrive...

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and we had everything we needed. We were in the best location. We could walk to the Cowboy Club (one of the best restaurants in Sedona), and to the major shopping area in Sedona. The king bed was super comfortable, and every morning we would have coffee on the outside balcony/porch area, where the views were amazing. We love Sedona, and we will definately be coming back. Staying at the Rooms Upstairs gave us everything we needed. We had a place to have breakfast in the morning, dinner in the evening, drinks, a place to park. It was a vacation that we would want to repeat again, and again. Thanks for a great stay!!

Room Tip: We had the King room, and we loved it.
