We shared a two bedroom apartment which was beautifully laid out but had no view and was generally very dark inside. There were plenty of towels both for the pool and the bathrooms and the bed was very comfortable. The biggest frustration was the lack of cell phone coverage and wifi access was almost non existent. I understand that the remote location can make it difficult but we had better coverage while hiking! Location wise it is quite a way from the main areas of Sedona which means constantly driving and I think we missed out on some of the atmosphere of the town by being so far away. We did take a taxi in and out one night which was around $15 each way.

We went here in early June using points from our timeshare program. Wound up with a huge unit, just for my wife and myself (a 1-bedroom co-joined with a studio), they packaged it that way and was one of the few options left available to us. It's a nice place, clean and modern, all the stuff we needed in the kitchen for eating in several nights (courtesy of Safeway groceries). BBQ gas grills outside, one of them didn't have a sparker, though. Swimming pools and jacuzzis all good, though not exceptional. Beware of the concierge/staff who will always try to steer you to another timeshare presentation. We've had our fill of those, and it gets a little annoying with their high pressure pitches. Just politely say no thanks, we don't need the 'free' promotions (had to say that several times). Also thought it was a little chintzy that they don't offer free WiFi. Why is it that the 4-star places gouge you for WiFi, while the cheap hotels include it for free? The resort is spread out, so some long walks to some of the other pools you may want to check out. There was no particularly good place on the property for seeing a good sunset (need to go to airport mesa). Also, the resort is located on west side, not really near the uptown action/nightlife, but good if you want peace and quiet.

The upon-arrival attempt to sign you up for a time share sales pitch was annoying, especially when you are anxious to get into your room and unpack.

Having a small kitchen area was nice. We got the studio which was a little cramped for 2 adults and 2 kids ages 12 & 9. But we got by just fine.

The WIFI was horrible! I can't believe that a resort of this size doesn't have free wifi and based on the connection speed from our iPads and iPhones even if you purchased their wifi you would not get a good connection. When we could get a connection via our broadbrand it was only 2G.

Overall nice stay, we really enjoyed beautiful Sedona.

Our one bedroom was very nice. It came with full kitchen, Jacuzzi tub & separate shower and its own washer/dryer which was a big plus. Our queen bed was comfortable, liked the nice soft pillows! Parking can get challenging if you come back to the room late. Patio was my favorite place in the mornings. They could use a small tea table rather then the small lounge type as we also ate our breakfast there. Laundry services (so not all rooms have the washer/dryer).We would stay here again.

And a few items that take it away from being 5 stars....
1. They tell you to see the concierge to get help with restaurants, hiking maps, etc. But they are really trying to sell you a timeshare. So, you really don't want to ask them for help during your stay, just to avoid their invite sale pitch . Not what I would consider a concierge.
2. We found bugs in our room. We travel a lot and do our fair share of outdoor activities, so not much of a big deal. None the less, you don't want to be walking around barefoot and run into one, ask the wife...
3. The resort is pretty spread out. That being said, the pools are few. In fact, the Jacuzzi and the pool in our area were in opposite directions, seemed odd.

Room Tip: Ask for a second level room, NOT facing the parking lot. We had to wait til around 4 for ours but wo...

We brought our family for four nights. When we arrived they tried to give us a one bedroom instead of the two bedroom on our reservation. We ended up with a combined studio/one bedroom which worked. While we were there the dishwasher did not work, we found parts for the light above the tub on the towel rack. A hole in the bathroom ceiling from apparent water damage from the upstairs unit, and a large cobweb on the ceiling in the master bedroom. We didn't want workers in and out of the unit so we just lived with it. We did feel though that we should make sure they knew so the next guest might not have the same issues. When we told the front desk the response was curt and seemed to place blame on us for not calling immediately when we found the problems. As though I wanted a plumber, drywaller, electrician and painter working on my room during my four day stay. No thanks. Also, the lighters for the bbq's did not work so you had to call maintenance to BBQ. I wasn't asking for anything, just trying to be informative, but I will admit a simple apology for the obvious deficiency would have kept me from posting this review. I'm glad they claim they would have fixed it the problems but I prefer to stay someplace that will do quality control prior to my arrival.

I visiting Sedona with two of my girlfriends. We got a two bedroom, two bath condo and request a room with a view. We were not disappointed! The place was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were top notch. It was close to Sedona and provided a great place to relax and enjoy all that Sedona had to offer. I would recommend this place and would stay here again if visiting the area.

My wife and I stayed at the Sedona Summit during the first week of June, 2013 and had a pleasant stay. Our two bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The units were fully equipped with all kitchen utensils and were tastefully decorated.

As stated in several other reviews, the immediate-upon-arrival attempt to sign you up for a time share sales pitch was very distasteful, especially when you are anxious to get into your room and unpack.

Access to many rooms was made difficult by the need to climb up and down several stairs. Those visitors that may have difficulty negotiating steps, especially when hauling a weeks worth of luggage, may want to contact the front desk ahead off arrival to attempt to reserve an easily accessible room.

It appeared that many (most) rooms did not offer the view of the Red Rocks that visitors to Sedona go there for. We made an advance call ( three weeks prior to arrival ) to the front desk and made a request for a second floor unit with a view of the mountains and, luckily, our request was granted. It appeared that most first floor units had little or no view of anything but the parking lot.

This is a family friendly property with many pools and hot tubs within easy walking distance of the suites. The property is probably a five mile drive to downtown (old) Sedona and there are an abundance of restaurants to meet every taste along the five mile drive.

Overall, I would recommend this property for your stay in Sedona.

Room Tip: Call ahead and request a second floor room with a view of the Red Rocks
