We went to Dan's Bistro on the advice of fellow trippers, largely because of thier BYOB policies-only a $5 corkage fee!. We love to visit the local wineries but can only take a limited amount home on the plane (damn those terrorists), so were happy to have a place to match our wine to a meal! The food was good,we started with the stuffed mushrooms. A nice surprise was croissants instead of bread. Salads were very good, not too big. I had the Seafood Portugesa which had a huge amount of seafood-3 GIANT scallops, 3 HUGE prawns, a good hunk of fish, lots of sausage, it was nicely seasoned. The sausage can be excluded but I don't know why you would want to do that! My husband had the chicken breast with artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes which was also tasty. We didn't have room for dessert so maybe next time
