Take the time to look at the sky. With the low lights in sedona and no more than 2 sotry buildings --- it is the best sky to watch. I promise. take the time to enjoy it.

We had a great time out in the middle of a soccer field gazing at stars! They give you great instructions on how to get to the viewing area and meet you at the parking lot. You're guided in to the viewing area and provided chairs and blankets while you wait your turn. If you're at all interested in the stars, planets and galaxies take this tour.

My husband is a bit of a "sky geek".... So I was a bit unsure if he'd enjoy it, but boy was I surprised! I highly recommend using the GPS location for getting there, even a quick drive by during the day jut to be sure of where you are going. Dave was our sky guide and had plenty of information to share. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Would recommend it to the novice and the experienced. Dress warmly!

We worried that this group was a legitimate business because they said we would receive directions to the location for that night. They emailed directions to a location down roads that felt remote and were extremely dark (although not actually far from downtown Sedona). The image of that night sky will remain with us forever! Our instructor (Matt) was good. Knowledgeable but not too scientific and serious. What could be seen with the naked eye was amazing and, through the telescope, even better. The night air was colder than expected, but they do provide blankets. You'll enjoy the experience a lot more if you're not freezing, so dress warmly.

Thank you for the terrific feedback about our experience. As much as we implore our guests to dress warmly they regularly come unprepared. November through March means hats and gloves are mandatory on our tour as the temps drop significantly at night. With hats and gloves it is not too cold at all.

We were delighted to exceed your expectations.

I was nervous my husband would not like this tour but we both ended up enjoying it very much and claim it as a highlight.
The mystery of it was fun too. Texted directions on where to meet, wait in the car when you get there...we enjoyed the suspense.
The guide was knowledgeable, I was nervous it would be Astrologically based, but it was total science and not pushy with ideas.
We got to see Jupiter as the highlight!
It got very cold, even with the blanket. I would recommend dressing warmer than you think you would need to.
This is a must do while in Sedona!
