Local trio playing the night we were there. We were a little too close for my liking. Small plates seemed a bit pricey. Food was good. Asked for a turnover with ice cream for dessert. No vanilla ice cream so the baker but whipped cream on top! Yummo!

We've frequented DFB for many years mainly for morning coffee, tea a bagel or pastry. It's a locals hot spot. Normally see some of the same people every time. The wait staff is usually very friendly with them like family. First name basis. I get it. What we noticed this time was the staff's wonderful treatment of all the guests. They made the rounds at all the tables several times asking if everything was ok. Refill? Never been asked that before. Something has changed for the better. Someone cleaning off tables regularly. Nice. Just a much better attitude from the staff. Hope it continues. Speed to delivery of food is somewhat suspect on occasion. Their evening menu is really good. I think a lot of people stay away because it's very blah inside at night. No atmosphere. I would maybe put tablecloths on the tables, play some jazz music maybe. A We've been there numerous occasions. Again the gentleman behind the bar focuses on the people at the bar more than the folks sitting at the tables. People he knows. Minor issue but if they want to be a good restaurant then they need to pay more attention to everyone not just the five or six people they know sitting at the bar. Keep up the good work we experienced today.

When it is slow, the service is good but once they get busy it all falls apart. The food is good but it is surprising that they have no Gluten Free options.

We stopped here after driving through Sedona. I had quiche while others had sandwiches. We also splurged on desert and chai tea. All the food was good and the atmosphere was casual and friendly. I would recommend this for lunch.

Liked everything about this cozy bakery, in the evenings it is so relaxing with the barman doing magic tricks...and the food is great and very good value.
