“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

Easy to access and great photo ops! You can get good views of it all over Oak Creek, so by just driving some of the roads you can get a good view.

“Great views and hike!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

We took the ""Bell Rock / Courthouse Trail". If you want a LONG Walking trail......this is it! Seemed like we walked forever......we unfortunately took the "Big Loop Trail". I am the type of person who would rather take three or four 2-3 mile hikes than one long hike.

“Awsome rock formations in cowboy town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

First thing you see as you enter Sedona is the red rock shaped in a bell, the town has an authentic wild west feel although there are a lot of upmarket shops within for tourist purposes.
We did see one old timer cowboy in his regalia and a six gun in his holster.
As you leave sedona and climb the 4,ooo ft through oak creek canyon you are treated to a wonderful view of the valley below, but beware of the drop in temperature.

So beautiful and unique. Of course, this is just one of many beautiful formations, but this one is very unique.

“Great Hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2013

The Courthouse Loop trail is a 4 mile loop around Bell Rock, rated as moderate in difficulty. It is an excellent hike with spectacular views at every turn and opportunities to climb on some of the rocks for those who feel so inclined. Little Bell Rock is about the 1/2 way point and was an easy climb providing a perfect rest stop.We did meet several people on the trail but for the most part you feel like you are out there on your own. We set out fairly early in the day to try to beat the heat, be sure to take plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes.
Special thanks to my husband and the complete stranger who encouraged me to make the climb on Little Bell. If I can do it anyone can!
