My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Inn of Sedona the week of July 11th and it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean, which is very important to both of us. The shuttle service was excellent and made our first night go very smooth. But the best thing was the view from our balcony, it truely was a little slice of heaven.

We stayed here last year and again last week. We used this hotel as a base for exploring while wine tasting in Cottonwood and Jerome. The entire staff is great and Saara the front desk manager is the best! We have a dog and this hotel not only charges a one time small fee (instead of nightly), but also provides a list of dog-friendly restaurants in the area. Of those Ken's Creekside was our choice, they had dog menu items (venison stew for our Zoe). The rooms here are quiet, smell good, have nice furnishings and surfaces, and have great terraces for outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. Very close to the movies, supermarkets, and the local restaurants.

Thank you (and Zoe!) so much for your kind review! We do enjoy our furry (and feathered!) guests here and are so glad you came back. We do our best to make traveling with them as easy and affordable as possible. Ken's is very popular with both dogs and their owners. We also have listings of other pet friendly restaurants and attractions in the area. In addition, we have close ties with Sedona Pet Supply in case you forgot anything for your pet on your travels.

We do have a lot of guests staying here for vineyard tours and tastings, and Jerome is always fun. Our location is easily accessible to all of these. A lot of guests, just like you, enjoy purchasing food and sitting out on our terraces to enjoy the fabulous views.

We appreciate your repeat stays with us and hope to see you here again soon!

Cheers! ;)

So glad we found this hotel. Views from the terrace/patios were breathtaking and worth the trip. The room layout was convenient for families with a seperate bathroom/dressing area. Our air conditioner konked out during our first nights stay and made for a very uncomfortable night for all of us. We were very tired, but not able to sleep well in the heat. The manager came and reset it at about 2 am, but it promptly quit within the next 20 minutes. The next morning a maintenance person came to look at and we were offered another room....without a view. We kept the room we had and, thankfully, the a/c worked the next night. I do not believe we were offered any restitution for the unpleasant first nights stay. We did however enjoy the terrace/patio in the evenings and would possibly stay here again. Another small problem, we wanted to enjoy the spa, but the water was cold? The boys said if we waited a bit, the water might warm up. Thought a spa was always warm/hot and have never had to wait on the water warming up before. On a bright note, we did enjoy breakfast and were happy that fresh fruit and granola was offered, as well as flavored creamer for the coffee.

GoTo5 -

I'm so very sorry to hear about the problems you had with the air conditioner in your room. I've sent you a private message, as I would like to offer you a $50 credit for the issues you were having. We're working hard to correct the few issues we have with our new air conditioners.

Your stay just happened to be around the same time we had a heating element fail in our hot tub. Our engineering team ordered and installed the replacement part needed to correct this issue as soon as we possibly could, and I apologize that we didn't get to this before you visited our pool and spa.

Thank you for your feedback. I sent you a private message, so please get back to me so that I can provide you a credit to compensate for the issues you had during your stay....

We hope you visit us again soon!

Sincerely,

Saara Ronan

This is a good hotel for families. The rooms were clean and decent-sized and the complimentary breakfast was standard but perfectly fine and there is a nice little covered outdoor eating area. Rooms on the upper levels have good views of the red rocks of Sedona. The hotel is only a couple minutes drive from the main part of town.

even though it's a Best Western, it's a great hotel just outside of the main strip - the views are fabulous from the rooms and the huge terraces - the sunset was amazing! The room was nice, clean and we would definitely stay there again.

We were happy with our 2 day stay here. We had our Grandchildren with us and we are happy that there was enough room for all 4 of us with a roll-away. The buffet was like most others I have had - just OK. The pool was a bit dirty and the spa looked more dirty. We mostly enjoyed the large patio out the back door! I could eat there, read, relax and there were great views.

We purchased a package for the train and room here and were very surprised to find out it was for only 2 people - not all 4 of us. We didn't find that out until we reached the train and then had to try and figure out the confusion...and of course pay for 2 more tickets for our grandchildren. So anyone getting a package - I suggest double checking the details. The concierge spoke to us several times and somehow this was not addressed. My husband swears she told him it included 4 people.

Dear Seniorx,

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us!

I'm sorry the pool and spa weren't as clean as expected. Our maintenance team does clean the pool daily, but on windy days it's hard to keep the leaves from taking a swim.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, but our website does clearly state that packages are built for parties of 2. I will discuss this miss communication with out concierge and ensure that this confusion is avoided in the future.

We hope you will visit us again soon,

Saara Ronin

This hotel was opposite the Sedona Airport a small local Airport, good place to see night sky. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown Sedona. The room space was extended by a large patio space outside all of the rooms, with tables and chairs. This overlooked the gorgeous red rock views. It was walking distance to shops for coffee and restaurants. Concierge contacted and arranged for hot air balloon ride and pink jeep tours.
